We went here on a super hot and sunny day and it was a great decision! It was super cool and calm downstairs in the garden/terrace. The inside is beautiful as well. And the staff was the best part: so kind and helpful!

Wow! Great place, amazing staff, drinks, dessert and food!
I do recomend this place to any visitor, both local and tourist.
However the toilets could use some love and care ❤

We went there to watch a free screening of Batman, and it was great. The people who organized it were extremely nice and gave a free box of snacks per row, and we didn't have to wait for long before we could enter.

Nice and historic place with a cosy restaurant/café. The prices of the dishes are very democratic .

It's a really nice place, the Goulash was very good, the staff super friendly. I had to stay working for a couple of hours and they didn't have any issues with it.

Came here for the WGT festival. Incredibly beautiful venue with good food at reasonable prices. Many dance areas and so fun to explore!

I have been there on the occasion of the WGT, which takes place every year and ends with the traditional visit to this beautiful place. Unfortunately, for that day, every year is absolutely packed, and a lot of people, if they arrive a bit later than midnight, are forced to wait in a very long line even longer than one hour. My boyfriend and I, after 30 minutes of waiting, we gave up and went away, pity. I was wondering if the owners of the MB, for the last day of the WGT, considering the huge affluence of people, they could arrange to allow guests to seat above in the square instead of just only in the establishment.

Cozy place, friendly staff and good food!

Very nice and old, full of history three-floor fortress made of brick and rock. It's really nice to be indoors since it's one of oldest buildings in Leipzig, now turned into a bar/Cafe for parties and cultural events.
I highly recommend having a view to their fb page to check out upcoming events. Discounts for students and they also have non-alcoholic beer.

I've only been during the WGT but just the architecture and how it's structured make it one of my favourite clubs ever! Drinks are a bit weak but food is good, there are a lot of places where to chill out, both inside and outside, and three different dancefloors with good sound systems. Def recommended!

Moritzbastei is a cool place with a great location and tons of great events. On weekends is usually crowded. There are at least three dance floors, some better than the other. The drinks prices are reasonable.

It's a great place to go for a small evening meal. The food is served quickly, it's always tasty, and there are plenty of vegetarian options. Excellent value for money, great beer on tap and friendly service.

Did you know that Angela Merkel helped build this place when she was a student at the Leipzig university... with many other (including one of my aunts)? This place is unique and has been entertaining and bringing together students and others for decades. Well done and thank you to all those students who helped to build this place voluntarily!

A very curious and interesting place, which is a mixture between a cultural center, a pub and a restaurant. The building is incredible, a kind of old metro station or basement of a fortress before. There are live concerts frequently.

The free Outdoor Cinema in july with plenty of cult movies is lovely.

A really cool place... somewhat crowded at the weekends. It hosts several events and also has multiple dance floors each playing different genre of music.

I have only been here when the venue is used for the WGT festival. During that time it's the best place in the city. The cocktail bar is great!

Best pub in the world, great club as well. Nice food available until the small hours, great cocktails. Ticks all of the boxes.
