Temple of Apollo

Nice place on top of the hill with a very nice view over the area, but specially over the lake where on summer time you can stop for a swim. Next to that Temple it is a very nice old style place from where you an buy beer or a nice and clod lemonade. Good also for bike hiking!!! Strongly recommend this place for nature lovers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Step back into history there is an a small entry fee to go onto the lookout terrace which has great views overlooking the lake worth tackling the stairs for, along the way you see images of its construction and recent restoration works, the building is over 200 years old, the temple has food and toilet facilities which offer great food at very reasonable prices including beer 😉, the Temple of Apollo is located in a great area for walking and other recreation activities

Witnessed beautiful sunset.

Another little castle in the area, this time with beautiful views of the ponds. Possible to see the castles Lednice, Valtice, Hraniční, Rybniční, kolonáda na Reistně, Tři Grácie, Nový Dvůr. It is open towards West and is supposed to be great sunset observation point - it tends to be open till the sunset. It's good idea to bring a telescope along, but there is also stationary one on the observation deck which is free to use (summer 2019). At the back of the castle, there is a refreshment point called "Stodola" (== barn), which serves fastfood and drinks. Their hamburgers and fries are reasonably good.

Beautiful piece of architecture with a great view. You can also cool yourself in the artificial lake just below it.

Ani po přečtení zdejších negativních recenzí určitě není chyba sem zavítat. Je to krásná památka se zajímavou historií a krásným výhledem po kraji a zdejší přírodě. I přístup sem je krásná procházka klidným lesem, který v tyto horké dny nabízí chladný stín. Navíc velmi chválím na střeše umístěný bezplatný dalekohled umožňující prozkoumání i největších detailů v okolí.
Ani se zdejší obsluhou v občerstvení (kterou provozuje někdo jiný než chrám) nebyla sebemenší potíž.
Pravda, okolí by neuškodilo trochu upravit a uklidit a chrám trochu poopravit. Ovšem některé recenze nelze brát vážně. Třeba ohledně občerstvení, které provozuje někdo jiný (jak již bylo zmíněno) než provozovatel chrámu.
A kolaři, že vám dávají kola do fotky? Zkuste počkat až odjedou nebo je poprosit o uhnutí. Popřípadě fotit z jiného místa. Vše je o lidech. Sám jako cyklista postavím vždy kolo mimo objekt u kterého předpokládám, že bude chtít někdo fotit. Nemůže za to provozovatel, ale samotný cyklista.
Slečna u vstupu že se dívá do mobilu? Vy by jste byli v pozoru po celou otvírací dobu? Asi ne.
Nemožnost platit kartou asi ani nekomentuji.

Apollonuv Chrám s vyhlídkou je jednou z památek Lednicko-valtického areálu který se nachází na břehu Mlýnského rybníka, nedaleko obce Lednice a Břeclav v Jihomoravském kraji. Je to pěkná památka, můžem doporučit navštívit tuto památku.

Navštívila jsem znovu po 20ti letech 🥰. Byli jsem mile překvapeni. Upraveno, opraveno, otevřeno, otevřené malé občerstvení i možnost výstupu na vyhlídku, velmi milý a ochotný pan "provozní", který nás poučil o tom, že chrám byl postaven ke sledování východu a západu slunce a proto Apollonův chrám podle boha slunce. Určitě doporučujeme 😀.
