Zoo Hluboká

We were pleasantly surprised. The animals seemed very well taken care of. The cells were quite accommodating and nature oriented. The entire zoo was extremely beautiful in fall.

One could purchase only a daily ticket at the cashier desk. An annual one can be ordered only online.

Zoo Hluboká is cute and small, yet well maintained place for all ages. The Zoo is clean and modern with plenty of seatings and rest areas. There are also large areas of shade covered with trees and bushes, offering cooling stay in hot summer days.

Toilets are free, parking and entrance are wheelchair accessible.

There are multiple refreshment bistros with basic snacks, drinks and sweets.

You can also here by boat.

Great place and value for money. It is a small zoo with lot of interesting animals. You can make tour in 1 hour, but stay also for many hours.
Tip for the zoo - we have seen many places where you can host additional animals - you should use them.

Big fun for all the family, specially the kids, that’s the second time we went there and probably is a must if you are near to the city

Some great things come in small packages. This zoo is an absolute delight. Great for visitors who want to see a variety of animals without having to walk a lot. The zoo is located on a lake. We enjoyed the views of the bird displays from the covered piers. Friendly staff, clean exhibits, well laid out.

Great for a whole day activity, interesting for all the family. Good restaurant is inside the zoo. Also, you can cross the lake on a boat!

Much better than few years ago. Take minimal four hours just for visit without any break for food or games in ZOO.

Beatifull Zoo! Just the right size, great placement by a lake, interesting and mainly lively animals with nice enclosures, very interactive and great for kids. Loved it! Reccommend to visit for sure

Absolutely amazing, I enjoyed every bit of it.
Extremely cute animals, very nicely set up and intertwined with the local pond.

In addition to the animals, we also had a very fun little fossil quizhunt.

It is a small zoo but is is very lovely. There is also quite a big playground half way through the zoo and you can feed goats right by it. You can grab a cup of coffee or get some refreshments by the playground too.
We love wolves and tigers (when you are in luck to see those) and bears. And watching otters to play in the water is usually the highlight for our kids.
The staff has always been helpful and in a good mood.
You have to pay a parking fee at a nearby parking lot.

What a phenomenal little zoo. Very good on price/quality. Don't forget you're in Eastern Europe. So some animals do sit in smaller cages, but all in all they all look well fed and taken care off. The prices are cheap. 110 kc for an adult. Also a petting zoo, 2 restaurants and several icecream/snack stands. The parking is paying, 90kc. Well worth the visit.

Perfect. Also in winter was ZOO prepared and almost all exponates was open and walks clean of snow.

Not so big but you'll spend couple of hours there. Fantastic place!

Lot of animals to see, some of them very rare. Also beatufull walk through the Zoo.

Loved it. Perfect size for our 3yo to walk around the whole zoo, interesting animals, great layout. Oh, and you can feed and touch baby goats! Bonus 😍
Price of parking reasonable and plenty of spaces to use. That's always good.

A perfect ZOO where you can walk through some animal enclosures. This ZOO is similar to the Prague one by it's approach and I really enjoyed it. The visit takes 2-3 hours.

It's was really nice, I got surprised, it was big zoo and a lot of fun!! Great stop with the kids after the Castle 🏰
