Ski Resort Černá Hora

Amazing ski resort with great routes and breathtaking views. Modern object with well maintained conditions, decent waiting times and a very large parking lot. Frequent ski bus aswell.

One of the best ski resort in Czech. Close to Polish border. Ca.17 km several km of well-prepared ski trails. The best is about 3 km under the lift (pod Lanovką). The Angel lift opens the fastest at the turn of November and December. Very nice route with an even slope of about 1500 m. 4 restaurants .

Great views, well organized. In summer, get bike on top, its 8 km of fun on way down! Or you can go for mountain tops trek, about 40 km of breathtaking views and nature. In winter, it's skiers and snowboarding paradise

I really enjoyed this ski region. Good, well-kept tracks, nice pubs and rest areas. I liked that Cerna Hora is interestingly connected to Pec pod Snezhkom. Nowhere in the Alps has it been transferred from one hill to another by a crawler car.

Forget about Polish Zieleniec (which is 1h & 20 min drive from there - unfortunately we booked our New Year break there ( a bad choice)) and come here to ski in a more civilised way. Ski lifts and facilities are new, and so far well maintained. Slopes are long and wide, and well connected (there are 4 (or 5) diffrent "resorts" you can enjoy on one ski pass ).
Weather can be a challenge but it is beyond your influence anyway. Getting busy at the weekends but at least you have plenty of choice which slope, ski lift or resort to choose.... Austria or Italy still a bit better choice for more advanced skiers but Cerna Hora is very close to the Polish border - a perfect weekend destination (be prepared to pay a bit more than in Poland for ski pass or a lunch) .

For this part of Central Europe, very good ski resort for a reasonable price (ca. 30-35€ per day). There are plenty of food stations. If just there is enough snow, mostly well prepared for skiing. Unfortunately, after 9am all parking slots are taken. Then parking is still possible as there are some other parkings a bit further.

Good place for skiing and other winter's activities. There is variety of amenities, ski schools, rentals.

Great place for skiing! Many different possibilities for chose track. Sometimes too many people - 25 minutes in queue for cabin.

Highly recommend "ski route" from Cerna Hora back to Pec pod Sneczkou.

Amazing skiing resort we love it

Very nice place for all kinds of mountains activity. Hiking, skiing, downhill scooters, you can take a baby stroller into the lift and on top there are good roads to continue working, there is something to eat. Recommended!

The best ski resort in the Czech Republic

One of the best ski center in Czech republic. Little bit crowded during weekends, but slopes are long and good prepared. Also they are expanding and upgrading theirs lifts and ski pass can be used in Pec pod Snezkou as well.

Very nice weather, not many people.

The tree rope walk track was challenging, at least for beginners like us, and interesting. There was a family of locals who ran it like a regular sidewalk :)

While my daughter was barely sufficiently tall (and very insisting) to go the adult loop, she luckily got tired and scared, and re-evaluated her abilities sufficiently and bailed out before crossing the highway for its second part. Likely she would not have jumped over some of the irregularly distanced holes between planks on that bridge alone, and would have completely panicked. A slighly bigger girl, about 10, passed the whole track okay however, except for the last tricky segment with the flying scateboard.
