The Timber Trail, Krkonoše

Our first time on such a great spiral timber trail. It was a great experience and we enjoyed every minute. The kids took the 50czk slide to slide down and enjoyed it.(It is for >120cm height). The views are great and the administration is easy pro.
A restaurant with good prices is just down below and was tasty.
We highly recommend not to miss it!

Beautiful walk with some lovely information about what a healthy forest should look like. Being able to see tree roots in a "cave"just before you start the climb up was incredible. And the 360° view from the top is simply stunning

It's definitely worth walking to the top for an awesome panoramic view. For a small fee, you can also take the metal slide back down!

Prepare to spend at least 4 hours in this lovely trail.. Ironically the underground part is amazing too.
But avoid the "restaurant" at all cost. Such a great opportunity to serve healthy and thematic meals wasted, you get microwaved potato instead. Get pork jerky in the shop next to the restaurant tho.

A must-see while visiting the Czech Republic, there is usually a long Que to buy ticket. However you can buy your tickets online and skip the Que.

The shop and restaurant staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Second visit to the trail. Again we had good fortune with the weather and enjoyed our walk. Probably will return in the future.

The hike from start to finish isn't that long but can take several hours depending on your walking speed. Nice little things for children to see during the walk and in multiple languages.

We came with stroller and 2 little ones under 3 and they enjoyed it and were save for the whole walk.

Excellent parking and helpful staff. Nice giftshop too!

This is an amazing attraction! I enjoyed the walk and all the little features along the way - built-in camera tripods on the railing, little telescopes pointed at objects of interest and narrative to go with them, little riddles lining the path up, an exhibition about the forest soil and all things related (surprisingly interesting). And to top it off - the super cool slide down to save you a serious number of steps (careful if you're going with kids - the limit for the slide is 120 cm and up). Highly recommended, definitely worth a trip!

The place is really beautiful. A great views are opening from the top of this tower but it depends on the weather, if there will be dust so it will be hard impossible to take photos on the mountain background. Also they have a nice and comfortable cafe in the bottom, fried cheese is really delicious and prices for food and beer are chipper then in Poland

Would recommend to everyone, unusual, informative experience every step of the way.great experience for people of all ages.as much as I enjoyed going up,I had a blast going down on 80 meters slide you can ride for very little extra payment , definitely worth the thrill.after that we visited the slightly overpriced gift shop,but that's to be expected,no marks down for that.there is restaurant on the site , canteen like push your tray along style.food was ok but not something to shout about.lastly we visited the children area you access through the canteen.beatifully made safe space for kids with plenty to do while you can relax on nearby patio having a drink and watching your little ones having fun

A nice, clean park, there is a short, educational trail, leading to the big view tower.

On the site there is a small park for children, and a great restaurant.

Sadly the employees don't speak English at all, and it was a bit unconvinient, but we got along.

The view was amazing, and the food was surprisingly really good.

The whole place is very clean and a really nice activity.

I would recommend going down the slide of the tower, even as an adult, and would definitely recommend to come and visit the site.

Definitely worth a visit! It is quite high (45 meters) but the slide down the middle (50 czk) is a fun and fast way to get down :-)

Great idea. To present nature to people in such a natural way is fascinating. The path between the tree canopy makes it possible to experience the forest and wildlife in it. Extremely exciting construction that leaves no one indifferent. Trail of tree crowns is located in the forests of Krkonoše National Park. Along the wooden paths exist instructive boards with quite interesting facts about the trees and forest to get to know. At the top of the construction is an interesting watch with an imitation of birdsong. From the summit, at 45 meters above sea level, there is a stunning view of Janske Lazne and the numerous slopes of mountains and ski resorts. At the foothills is a great restaurant with home-cooked food and bar with indispensable Czech beers.

Nice view and awesome slide. You can pay by card on top and it's quote cheap about 2€ to go down. I came just for that slide 😃

Magnificent views. I have a soft spot for landscape views, and this one certainly wasn't a let down! Really fun to do with a group, and answer all the questions that are dotted around as you make your way to the top of the tower. Today I learned that the maximum incline of the whole tower is no more than 6°!

The timber trail was cool-as expected😇

What made the difference was the “theory” part underneath the construction and also along the way-I really loved the humor and also the ability of “doing common things uncommonly well”

The treetop trail is located in the heart of the majestic forests of the Krkonoše. This is a National Park.
The trail shows the local beautiful forests literally from the roots to their crowns. Below the trail there is an educational trail where you can see the root of a tree, the trail to the top shows the beauty of forest life and a number of animals and plants that are nowhere else.

The route is more than 1500 m long.

An easy walk between the trees, with a lot of activities and educational info, and wonderful view from the top, we were only a couple and the crowd was not felt

Cudowne miejsce ! Woderfull place, must be seen! Take your family And visit it!
