Long Story Short Eatery & Bakery

There was my first time at this nice place I was really positively surprised very friendly and nice staff, who took care me "from the door". Cousins were very tasty and the choice from menu was for me enough and diversified. Bakery at place adds really an amazing atmosphere . Will come back soon for sure, so see you soon!

I think is my favorite restaurant in Olomouc. Great atmosphere, very minimal design and great service. The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful garden, I wish they were bigger windows so you can see more of the view.

As food we had, starter a selection of cheese and meat with their own homemade bread, butter and some spread. Their butter is amazing tasty. Highly recommend. As main course we choose veal schnitzel and pork food with pineapple and veggies and lot of colander. The food was lovely cooked, delicious and everything was looking great! As dessert we choose one cake with pumpkin yogurt and orange, and one cheesecake with mango. The cake with pumpkin it was interesting combination, I like it but the mango cheesecake was nothing special. They need to improve their pastry. It total I liked the experience to eat there and enjoy a calm atmosphere. If you go to Olomouc is highly recommend!

We had a truly great dining experience at Long Story Short today. The place was recommended to us after a foodie tour we made in Prague and it truly is a gem in Olomouc.
Service was exceptional, we were personally cared for by the staff from start to finish who provided useful recommendations on the menu and drink associations.
Food was on point: great taste and great products. The inside is minimalist and clean while also having enough space between customers to get an intimate feeling.

We have tried the special Easter lunch menu on Easter Monday that was fabulous, as well as the atmosphere of the restaurant , we were sitting by the windows. The service provided by the young tall man was also top quality, he was very knowledgable about the meals on the menu and happy to help with the meal selection. The desert in form of a chocolate Easter egg filled with frozen yogurt was a pleasant surprise to end the nice experience.

This is a on the few fancy places in Olomouc. They charge you way than somewhere else but the service is very professional. I would recommend going for a fancy dinner. The meals on the photos look very norm-core but these people know what it means to make a simple meal.

We were looking for some fine dishes in Olomouc and we get a recommendation for this place. The interior was surprisingly awesome. The building it self used to be a soldier bakery and now them guys bake them own bread and serve delicious dishes. In case that you require a great service in combination with a tasty food, you should not miss this place.

LSS is a discovery of the year for me. I don't miss an opportunity to go there when in Olomouc. I didn't stay right in the hostel I only went to eat or drink or buy a loaf of bread or coffee to go. So you can test it even though you stay at another place.

From last visit year ago they shifted gastronomy to next level. We had special goose menu. Especially soup with foie gras tortellini was amazing. For the level of food experience is price very decent. Visiting this restaurant is pleasurable experience. Nice and cosy atmosphere for date, celebration or just dining.

One of the best restaurants in Olomouc. Diverse selection of dishes, friendly staff, beautiful ambiance. After dinner, head to the upper part for a drink with a DJ playing. An amazing place.

One of the best restaurants experiences we’ve ever had. I don’t even know where to start. Their food is incredible. They have vegan and veggie options. Loved their bread and fermented veggies. The interior design is absolutely gorgeous and they have really comfy chairs. Great service. Excellent coffee and delicious sweets. They 3 different plant milks. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Good vibes. Looking forward to eating (and hopefully also staying the night) here again.

Long story short this place is great. I stopped for lunch and the food was delicious and stuff very helpful. Now I wish they had a branch in Prague. I went for a dessert to go, but forgot it on the table, but I suspect it was great too :)

Eatery is simply great, awesome food, great and knowledgable staff. Wonderful wine pairing and tasty drinks. Prices are little higher, bit definitely worth it
