Camp Matyáš

Very nice owners. Relax ambiance. Next to river and close by a train station (20 min walk). Train takes you to Prague in 30 min. Food and drinks are good and very reasonable priced. Would advice this place to friends and family.

Gorgeous place, very nicely laid out, great facilities (washing machines, showers, bar/food). I can see why it got the best campsite in Czechia 2022.
Easy cycle into Prague, or there's the train station a short walk from the campsite.

Best campground!!! It’s no surprise that they won the award last year. The staff are so attentive and always making rounds cleaning and perfecting. Most of them speak great English. The showers and restrooms are the cleanest and most comfortable I’ve ever seen. The shared kitchen area is well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. There are multiple quiet places to sit and relax or read a book. My boys played football and table tennis for hours.

Super friendly and cosy camping not too far from Prague. With a restaurant and a kitchen. Owners couple is really kind and helpful. Between 8 and 10 fresh bread. Between 1730 and 2030 dinner.

This is the best campsite we have ever visited. Friendly owners, luxurious sanitary facilities. 20 minutes by train to Prague city center. We have 2,5more weeks in Czechia, I doubt we will find a better campsite.

Ooo....what an amazing place and people!!!! I don.t have enough words to express all the nice experiences in this camping.

We arrived on an Friday afternoon, immediately let us choose a spot. By the way....the biggest spot we ever received in a camping. This was the first good impression.

You have electricity, water is close. The toilets are so chic 😍 and very clean. You have everything.

If you have with you kids, they have a lot of play ground. I never see so much bicycles and toys in a camping for kids. The playground for kids is next to the restaurant, so you have them in your eyes 👀.

The food...ooo....they are excellent in cooking. We try everyday a different meal, all good. And if you are there in the weekend they do a rosted smoked pork. In a different day they served smoked chicken from oven. Good beer. The highlight from menu in this camping. The prices were very good. I can say cheap 😉

You can also fish. They have a day permit for 15 euros. At the camping is a water deck. You can also rent a boat from them or you can use your own. They have also bicycles at your disposal.

The central station is at aprox.700m from camping, from where you have a direct train to the centrum on Prague. In 25 minutes with only 3euro/person you are there. You can pay with your debit/credit card or cash.

You can pay with cash(euro) or transfer.

I definitely recomand this lovely camping.

A great place to stay. The owners are very friendly and take great care of the camping. You see the love in all the small details. They make you feel at home instantly. Also nice that they speak English and German.

There is everything you need: clean facilities, a camp café/restaurant and a small "kitchen" where you can cook and also sit when it rains.
In the morning they have a large selection of bread and spreads for a small price.

The camping is close to the train station, so you are in Prague in 30 min.

I would definitely reccomend to stay here.

So friendly. We've been motorhoming for over 20 years but never been to such a wonderful campsite, and so easy to go into Prague.
They have really gone the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need.
I could go on, but go and find out ... a real treat awaits.

Very nice camp site. They provide a lot of services beyond the typical ones, such as free bikes to go into Prague, playroom for the kids, kids bikes, a nice sunbathing area, camp fire, etc... The facilities are clean, well maintained and also equipped with basic stuff. The staff is very nice and helpful. This is a good place to relax. This was the 15th campsite on our tour this year (including Poland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway) and I can say this campsite was the best positive surprise.

This camping is lovely. Every day we discovered something new and cute, like the little herb garden next to the kitchen, and the water sports, toiletries in the bathroom, eco-friendly installations and tiny accessories for toddlers - high chair, tiny chairs for the kids to reach the sinks.. We don't even necessarily like kids, but we smiled whenever we saw little tidbits of thoughtfulness towards parents needs. I am sure that if you come here with family and kids you are going to have an absolute blast.

The owners are actively trying to make your stay as comfy and as cozy as possible. This is obviously a project of love.

I also wanted to thank the owners for lending me the gate key one morning so that we could go see the sunrise on Charles Bridge. 🌞💖 You rock!

There are so clean toilets and shower booth! Everyone who stays here was friendly. We all had a great time! However, the people on the other side of the campsite were a bit noisy.😅
But it wasn't much of a problem.
The campsite was quiet and peaceful.

This camping is so good it is extra. What kind of a hotel has free moisturizers, eyeshadow and razors in case you need one? The food is unbelievably tasty, and the whole place is incredibly clean. Free playground for kids, bbq places and wonderful beer. This camping has everything and more a person can need. Simply, It is the best camping we have been so far. Great experience!

We had a great time at Camp Matyas! Such a lovely place, clean toilets and showers. Fun playground with fountain. Next to the river with a stunning view! And the food was sublime!!! 100% would reccomend!

Nice camping area, good facilities, friendly helpful staff, lovely situation near the river. A bit far from the city, but that is good in one way because it's very peaceful except for a few trains.
A good price for a nice campsite I think.
I arrived later in the evening and the staff were accommodating and left the gate open and let me check in the next day (but call earlier if you are going to be later than 8pm, so they know you will be late).

One of the best places we've stayed at in Czech Republic. Staff is really friendly and facilities are really clean. Showers are for free and electricity is included in the price.

On site:
Showers and toilets, which are held clean. The toilets even have a seat sanitizer available.
Lake is nearby, there's a little gate in the fence to go there.
A restaurant with what I'd call good prices. The food is worth the money, even on budget you can eat with 2 for less then 300 kč.
There is a little are dedicated for playing board games and such. Doubles as a shelter for if it's raining outside.
Free Wi-Fi is available, and is surprisingly good.

The experience with the staff is also great, we were hiking throughout the region, and they were genuinely interested in what our plan were, and gave us some tips for the next day.

The only flaw in the camping is the railroad nearby. It's kind of compensated by the fact that you can get to and from Prague very quickly, but I would advise to pack in some earbuds if you'd stay here.

Price
We paid, off season, 265 kč a night, camping with 2 in a tent smaller than 2m×2m.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Where to start.... First of all the place is clean, toilets and showers are super clean and come with amenities (never seen that on a camp ground)! There is a open kitchen to use if you want to cook. They have draft beers and fresh bread in the morning. If you have a good spot it's a true pleasure to stay here. Only pity is that the bar closes way to early, 11 would be much better.

We give 4 stars for this camping !!!
Toilets and showers very clean.
Good connection to Praag centre, by train or by bike. Very nice and good restaurant with flowers and candles !! 😎
And, last but not least......
The fifth star we give for the always happy, smiling and well willing Iva and Hana !!! 👍

Lovely Familycamping!
We stayed with a caravan for a couple of days. We could choose our place randomly since there aren’t any pitches, so we stayet next to the playground which is a perfect oasis to a kid with lot of good toys. We could connect to the electricity easily. The friendly owners are really helpful and kind - and good shefs! The toilets and showers are super clean and well-equipped. I loved them! The camp is next to the river, which is totally romantic! We loved the tiny bell at the train track.
Absolutelly visit again! 😊
