1. The food is delicious, the duck legs are soft and flavourful, the salmon is just right, and the bite is tender and not too chewy.

A restaurant in the basement with beautiful atmosphere of a wine cellar. The service is quick and the food is delicious. It is all local Czech dishes for a reasonable prise. The most expensive main dish is about 250 CZK.

The only thing that was distracting was the techno radio that was quite loud. It wasn't the most suitable music to enjoy food but you might like it!

The liver ball soup had a distinct flavour and the duck and pork meat of the main dishes slid of the bone without much effort!

Recommend for a visit!

I have tried goulash from many restaurants in Czech Republic. For me this is my Best Goulash that I’ve ever tried because beef is very soft, tender and juicy, full of herbs flavor.

The waitress is having great service mind, and super super nice (even she doesn’t speak English well)👍👍👍

Absolutely satisfied!! My roasted beef with cranberry creamy sauce and the dumplings were amazing 😋🙌 My boyfriend and I were very happy with the whole experience there 👍👍👍

Very nice environment, felt like I was eating local food, beers to your hearts content. We had a meat plate and many dumplings it was amazing and all sauces in all plates we tried me and my friends were super tasty. It delivered the feeling of eating good local food that we wanted! However only negative point is that they asked us to pay with cash only although on the door they have card sign.

Sometimes I am dreaming to taste this duck again, it's just perfect!
Prices are ok, all other aspects you can easily forgive because of the price/value!

But you should be aware about a few things: I was even about to leave a place at the beginning because it's not looks like restaurant, more like a bar and distant a bit from all main attraction places. But Again, I was returning a few times here and I would like to return again to the city to taste their perfect dish!

Great restaurant with delicious food and wonderful staff! We went there twice and they remembered us and even our table ;) convinient location close to becherovka museum and center, food was served quickly, even though they had a lot of guests, totally recomended!!!

This place offers delicious food and drinks! Even thought the interior is not very beautiful. There are few tables inside and nothing more.
But you don't need nothing more because the food is amazing!
There are some dishes already prepared and some you have to wait for around 10 minutes.
Staff is friendly and fast, no problems with English or Russian language.
Meat and chicken were super fresh and good prepared!
Definitely will come back here again.

Really good meal, compared to the other restaurant in the city centre, And even cheaper. And the service is more kind and professional. In a few words, if you are a tourist, come here to have good bohemian meals.

We ordered the roasted duck and the creamy sirloin; both were tasty to the max. Great options of Czech delicacies! The staffs are really kind and helpful as well.

Very nice food and nice people working. Menu in several languages and when it's time to order, if there isn't a common language... solution will be found with a smile. Definitely a place to visit on another trip to Karlovy Vary :-)

Prices were good and the portions were big.
Small place, cozy and the waiters were polite and spoke English.

Excellent Czech cuisine in Karlovy Vary! Tried the roast beef with creamy sauce and it was sooo good. Perfect addiction of the cranberries to give it a little sweetness. Place is a little hidden as you have to go down some stairs but I’m so glad I found it. Also the staff is very nice and did a good effort trying to speak English, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend to make a visit :)

We feasted on typical home-made dishes! We were made very welcome and served promptly. Thank you. We also recommend this restaurant for its good value for money. Go there if you're looking for good local food!

Sklipek is located few steps from main walk. We found almost full house.
Polevka(soup) was really good. Ordered main dishes are big.. So big
Delicious and good price. All in Czech style!

Really impressed, Denisa a Liliana showed great customer service skills , even the restaraunt was busy they were under pressure never took smile off their face , we felt welcome and we had rib eye steak dumplings with sour cream and lovely desert it was delicious! Definitely will recommend to all my mates !
