Goethe's Lookout Tower

Perfect place for a family trip. No entrance fee, cafeteria cash only, fun trail for kids, long zip line open from May

Lookout tower near Karlovy Vary where you can get by car pretty close to it. It’s literaly walk 3 minutes from parking lot. You can walk on top for free and visit cafe place downstairs.

The view from the top is spectacular, it worth to go up there by car also. There is a coffee shop also, but we did not try it so the five star is for the view :)

Take some 150 steps up and enjoy this stunning view of Carlsbad's spa forrests and its surroundings from top of this gorgeous lookout tower.
Binoculars definitely recommended tho.
Café at the ground level, taxidermy exposition halfway through, very nice observation deck on the top.

Approx. 2 km from Karlsbad. You can drive to this location or walk. Some parts of the trails are quite steep but good to manage with a medium fitness level. You will be rewarded with a beautiful view from the tower. The entry of the tower is free of charge. The Restaurant is good as well.

If you are in Karlsbad, make sure to make a quick stop here. Great looking tower, usually with a Caffe inside, but that was closed on this occasion (public holiday).

Cool point of view. But a bit disappointed because Goethe was not at home. Free entry is nice and rare, maybe a fee if he is at home?

Beautiful place, worth a visit. The tower is really nice and the view of the forest too. In winter the place is really snowy.

A decent little walk from town, but worth it for the views. The cafe was also nice and had especially friendly service. Goethe would probably have loved it…

Beautiful sight after a steep walk up the mountain, but worth it! We were here in April but it was closed for restoration work, would open again in May said the sign.

Entry is free of charge and there a nice cafe at the ground level.

Recently renovated historical lookout tower, there's also a café inside. Don't go there if you want to see the city, it's oriented to other direction, so you'll see city's surroundings (mountains, mines, airport...)

The place have a car road and wallking roads too. The nice wiew to Karlovy Vary from there.

The greatest lookout in beautiful Karlovy Vary. Best for hiking trips.
