Meson La Cuchipapa

Very nice and friendly staff. They even called a friendly guy to translate the menu from Spanish to English. Delicious food, well prepared. Good priced.

This place is simply amazing. The service is really good, the food was simply delicious, the day we went they had everything we ordered, something not common in Cuba.
At least from all the restaurants we had in Cuba this might be the best and if not top 3 at least.

I was recommended by the owner of Hostal and came here. I had dinner twice at here. The dishes are so large that I can not eat alone!

You have to come here if you pass by for food or for drink whatever. They serve one of the best food during our trip. Their menu hang on the wall, don't miss their local cocktail.

Great service, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive and really trying to give the best experience. The food is excellent and their signature drink alone is a reason to go there. Come to think of it… Bayamo is not a very interesting town, but Cuchipapa is worth the trip.

Un lugar espectacular para disfrutar de la sabrosa comida cubana. Un ambiente bien criollo y un servicio especial. Mi próxima vez en Bayamo he de visitar este Meson nuevamente.

Un lugar mágico, auténtico, para degustar cocina criolla y vivir una experiencia a la usanza de las abuelas cubanas.

El Mesón la Cuchipapa ofrece platos de la cocina regional bayamesa, muchos de ellos con mas de 200 años de tradición como lo son el Bollo Prieto y las Ciruelas Borrachas; no falta el llamado pan de los indio (el casabe) ni el Ajiaco Bayamés (cocido de viandas, donde no puede faltar el bollo de maíz, las bolas de plátano ni la carne de cerdo). Toda la ambientación está inspirada en el Bayamo del siglo XIX época gloriosa donde en esta ciudad se sucedieron acontecimientos que cristalizaron los sentimientos de identidad nacional.

Comida realmente exquisita, precios considerables para sus platos de comida y bebidas realmente buenas, además de personal muy amable.

Während der Zubereitung fehlte der Strom. Das Essen wurde auf dem Holzkohlegrill zubereitet. Wir hatten Schwein sowie Lamm und es war total lecker
