Casa Cary y Familia en Trinidad

We felt very much at home at Cari’s house. Yarahi is extremely helpful and interested, making sure you can do whatever excursion in or around Trinidad.
One time when we were in the centre, Cari took our laundry inside as it suddenly started raining. Super sweet!
The room is clean and we would highly recommend to get breakfast and dinner at the house.
We liked that the house was a little out of the centre, allowing you to sleep well as the centre can be quite noisy during nighttime. Also, the centre is close enough to walk to.
The family loves communicating so if you speak (a little) Spanish, this will make your time with them even better!
Prepare to be wanting to book another night (or two) 😉 like we did. On of the best stays in Cuba that we had!

Due to a huge delay of the bus company (of 7 hours!), we arrived at 2am at night. This didn’t withhold Cari of receiving us with open arms and much enthusiasm! The rooms were clean and Cari and her family were very friendly and helpful. Although there was a language barrier, the family tried their best speaking in easy Spanish so that communication was possible. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We decided to stay one extra day in Trinidad and we were advised by Alexei (El Ceramista) to stay at Cary's. Even without any previous warning, they hosted us and were extremely nice and welcoming. The house is still being renovated, therefore we slept in the main room at the ground floor. They are building the walls around the terrace, so everything looks a bit "messy". However, the room was nice and comfortable and the shower was great. The food was also tasty and we absolutely enjoyed our stay.
