Café El Mago

If you're in Trinidad and you're looking for good food & a super quirky venue visit Cafe El Mago. Great sandwiches, some of the best food we ate in Cuba. Super cool artwork and memorabilia. Service was fantastic. We really wish we'd found this place earlier. A real gem in Trinidad.

This café was by far the best we visited on our Cuba-trip! They had great vegetarian/vegan options on the menu as well as good coffee and tea. The service and vibe were excellent, we felt like sitting in a café in Berlin only without the overpriced offers. Highly recommend:)

Lovely cafe with a great vibe. Music different to the other places in town- they seemed to have a mixer by the bar and played some great dance music. Very good cocktails and sandwiches. We enjoyed ourselves there so much we went 3 times whilst we were in Trinidad.

Highly would recommend! A cafe with super cool vintage vibes. We came here once for a drink and decided to go back the day after for dinner. Good vega(n) options.
Prices are very good. The food and drinks even better! One of the best dinners we’ve had in Cuba.

Honestly this place has the best quality/price ratio in the world. This is a gem, made my stay in Trinidad incredible. BY FAR, the best food I’ve had in Cuba. Does not even compare to anything I’ve had in the past weeks. Staff is great, vibe too. I don’t even wanna consider any other venue in Trinidad.

This is a must visit in Trinidad! Went here 3 times during my 2 night stay in Trinidad. The place has a very nice atmosphere and really stood out from the other places around.

The coffee drinks was delicious, especially after a couple of hours in the burning sun.

Definitely the coolest cafe I’ve ever been to. Felt like visiting an modern urban art gallery. Great music and coffee too. You should definitely check it out!

Their cocktails are great; so tasty, with fresh fruits and herbs. Cool electronic music at a totally artistic place! The guys working there are so kind! Do not forget to visit this place in Trinidad Cuba!

I had an amazing coffee there and some fruit juices and both were amazing and the best in the town, also the prices are very good.
I had a really strange (in a good way) feeling, like for 30 minutes I forgot which country I am, it’s really a level what Europe or the Tulum area has.
Absolutly wonderful and it’s really amazing that they make something else in the country.

This is a Great Bar and You should definitely go if you are in Trinidad! It has great vibes, amazing art on the walls and lots of interesting things to look at. We really enjoyed having a canchanchera, a change of music and a chat with Carlos.

Late review as i was here in March but this place has got to be one of the best finds for me in Trinidad, such a unique, artistic place with so much character and lovely people! I just happened to stumble upon and it had such a fantastic experience i came back numerous times with friends during my stay. Great art, great drinks and great people - Carlos and his team are incredible!

Great place with many different coffee options, also cocktails and some basic food (sandwiches). Great atmosphere. The owner is a dreamer, ergo good vibes all around.

Amazing place, amazing food and amazing people. A totally different vibe, a fair price for quality food and drinks, you will also find vegan and vegetarian varieties( something rare outside habana) Ideal for breakfast, snacks and chill nights. The mixture of techno and electro make stands up in a city full of salsa and traditional music. Carlos and his team made my stay in Trinidad much better, they were always willing to help and to share their knowledge about the city best spots. Really easy going and friendly people.
