Hotel Playa Coco

We had a fantastic time at this resort. The staff are so kind and helpful and the resort is clean and well kept.
The beach is stunning and you can swim a short ways to a coral reef. We really enjoyed swimming and snorkeling there.
The room was clean and beautiful with a daily service to clean, refresh beach towels and drinking water. Plenty of hot water for showers too. We had a small problem as the toilet started running but that was fixed within an hour of asking for them to help.
The hotel even had a free courtesy room to shower and get ready for your flight if you had a later flight and wanted to spend your day on the beach. Excellent service.
The food was plentiful and tasty. Especially at the teppanyaki restaurant.
I can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The entertainment crew were talented and we had fun watching the shows. Such a great experience so much fun. Thank you Hotel Playa Coco.

Had an amazing time at the resort! The hotel not only serves delicious, well-cooked food, but despite having a somewhat limited selection of raw ingredients, the chefs work wonders. The beach is absolutely stunning, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation.
And let’s not forget the entertainment crew and their fantastic leader, Arianna!
Also a special shout-out to Joe as his upbeat and lively vibe really made my stay extra enjoyable. He pays great attention to every guest, making everyone feel special. Joe's positive energy is a big plus for the hotel experience.

Hotel Playa Coco, best resort I've ever visited in Cayo Coco, the beauty of the beach is breathtaking, 100 meters of natural white sand that highlights the clear turquoise water of the ocean. Yes they have shortages but I never go to Cuba for the food but for the heat, the sunshine and THE PEOPLE. Playa Coco has the most friendly staff you would ever meet. Doesn't matter! Repeater or first timer they treat you all the same. The service is top notch, they bent over and forward to serve you even when they get tired of long hours of work. THE ANIMATION TEAM is the best and more professional staff of all the resorts I've been too. I am so very much looking forward to coming back in March because I already feel like family!!!!

My time at Playa Caya was really good. I had a few problems with the rooms I had to switch 2 times. What made my trip Amazing was the Animation team they are phenomenal espically Hassen and Danay those two are just wonderful human beings ❤ Ofcourse the rest are amazing. I always looked forward to watching the shows they are amazing young talented people. I will be returning in April because of them.I'm so excited to see the team that made my vacation an unforgettable one. Thank you Playa Coco Animation team

As always, my love of this beach, the people and this resort, keep me coming back. I just returned from 2 weeks this year. Jan 25 to Feb 8. There were alot of purple posting about flies before my trip and although i did notice them,
they didn't ruin my trip. I received a couple bug bites the first few days then nothing. I have a long list of recognitions to make! Bikely Perez, it was great to see you again! You are such a blessing to this hotel! Yasiel Hidalgo, thank you for always making sure everything was good, for always checking on me and most importantly for your friendship I will always treasure! It was great to see you again! You are an amazing addition to the hotel! I am so glad to see you at the hotel!! Yelegny Jimenes, my friend, and family, I was so glad to see you again, although it wasn't much. Rachel Fajardo... your infectious smile and warm welcome upon arrival! You are always quick to make things right for guests. Yadira Sanchez...quite possibly the happiest, sweetest lady anyone could know! My friend, George Felix, it was so good to see you. As always. I'm so happy to see you getting back to work. Alex Marquez from the animation team. What an absolutely nice guy. Always a pleasure to have conversation with. Tammy at the main pool bar...a beautiful lady with a heart of gold and great sense of humor. And last but not least Adrianna Lopez Roche ... wonderful to see you and enjoy another amazing return guest dinner. Superb as always. I honestly have nothing negative to say about my trip. Cuba cannot control the weather, I was there 2 weeks. Yes I had a few cool days, yes a storm came through. I still can't home with a tan. I ate, never went hungry. I'm not a fussy eater so I always found food to eat. Yes, they ran out of fries. Oh well. I never ran out of t.p. or water. I had a couple of days where I didn't have hot water (3) ... again, oh well. I didn't get my room of choice, oh well, the resort was full and very busy. I sleep in it. Not a huge deal. There were flies and I got bit by no seems but it seemed once the storm came through and it cooled down they let up. The lobby washrooms ran out of t.p. but like I said, it was very busy there. There is only 3 stalls and that's alot of people. The washroom by the restaurants had a problem. I heard people complain as it was being cleaned up and fixed. But guess what?maybe if people didn't flush the t.p. these back ups wouldn't happen! I dint blame anything on the hotel. The same thing could happen at home if you had hundreds of people flushing things down that shouldn't be. They fixed it. That's all that matters. I will be back again next year. Sooner if I could. I will always love my Hotel Playa Coco home and family!

Was at Playa Coco this week with family and had a wonderful time! We were treated like VIPs all the way. And a special thank you to Angel at the front desk who happily had only "Yes of course we can help" when wo spoke. Will definitely go again 😎

Loved it. Super friendly staff. And food was surprisingly good. I had low expectations because everyone always complained of the food in Cuba but the food was good and sometimes great. Loved the stations where they cooked you fresh pasta or seafood or other dishes.

Beach was Amazing!

Rooms were good. Our mattress felt wet? Or moist which was weird and the cleaning people are super weird with giving you beach towels.

Highly recommend you go to the UNDERGROUND cave party. Was a super fun time.

You must also rent the mopeds 25USD per day per moped and go cruising across the island.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was very warm and professional. The resort was clean and a really nice layout. I like the idea that there's an added quiet pool area with a bar. We spent most of our time at the beach❤
The bar on the beach was well stocked.
Zarianne the maid was very creative in her towel art for the bed. The entertainment staff along with Duane is engaging. We've met some tourist that have been to this resort several times. We've been to various areas in Cuba and definetly will go back to Playa.

AMAZING GIRLS TRIP!!

We stayed for 5 days and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. The food and room were good! The beaches and the weather were great! But the beat part and what has people coming back is honestly the staff members! They are so caring, and made our vacation!!!

We personally would like to mention a few staff who really made our trip:
Alexis, who works in entertainment was so amazing! He checked in on ya daily making sure we were having the best vacation possible! He planned an awesome excursion called a cave party that we went to and it did not dissapoint! The nightly shows that he were in were also amazing! Thank you!!

Julio, who works at the beach bar. He always made sure we had a mojito in our hands and a smile on our face. We will definitely miss him!

Our servers - Delaney and Claudia were both AMAZING. Some of the best service I’ve experienced!

Overall, an amazing trip. Would love to come back!

All the staff of this hotel are pleasant especially the manager Carlos mario,Alejandro,Ariana,Kennia,Ruso chef,Giro,magi, Jack,the housekeepers and the waiters (s) animations are the best 🔥

Very nice hotel! The rooms have a really decent size, food is really good with lot's of options and the pasta station is a success. The beach is amazing and really close. The only downside was the bug bites, so be aware and protect yourself.

Beach: amazing. Staff: so friendly. Food: great. I would choose this resort next time I travel to Cuba without a doubt. Make sure you visit George at the Ice Bar. Best barman in the world.

I stayed in that hotel a couple of weeks ago it was so beautiful very satisfied with the service there it was fantastic. Everyone there was nice, helpful, and approachable. The food was delicious and we had stunning views of the ocean all around the whole entire hotel. It was lovely.

We just got back last night after spending 5 days, and we had an amazing time!! Food selection, weather, hotel accomodation, service, people atmosphere, views of the beach all were 5 star rating in my book!!! Everyone at the resort is friendly and welcoming and you genuinely feel comfortable. I have never enjoyed a trip so much, the only thing that would have made this trip better -- if it were free! I met alot of great people not only those who live in Cuba but also those who were visiting as well. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel --even people from surrounding areas left their hotels to come to Playa Coco, because of the atomosphere and genuineness of the people at our resort. For those of you who are considering taking a trip, please don't be discouraged by negative comments you read on here--i can tell you that i went with an open mind and the need to get a way and i was thoroughly happy i went dispite what i had read on line== and i am thankful i did. Special mentions: Yuvi, in the Beer Garden is a delight -- her generosity and caring nature. She is always ready to make you feel at home, and welcomed--part of her family. Her husband Rosseau, is a chef at the a la carte resturant- very skilled and amazing cook!! He made the most amazing dinner and took the time to make special provisions for my husband's food allergy -- much appreciated. Rosie, is a gem and made us feel special. And finally Bobby the dj, had us dancing all night, special thanks to him from my husband, Vish for his special gift!
Everyone at Playa Coco, made us feel comfortable. Thank you all for making us feel right at home!!! Looking forward to saving up for a return visit!!!!

Outstanding! Amazing property, ideal for families! Mind you, all other travelers will definitely enjoy the resort's facilities. Great beach, great staff...all in all an amazing experience. Would I recommend this property? Eyes closed!

it was amazing had our wedding there they knocked it out of the park. So many great staff amazing beach. Ya the hotel has issues you are in a communist country people but they do try hard. The entertainment staff Luigi.minion and chocolate made our ten day stay memorable they are our new Cuban family. food was good al le care was very good lobster dinner amazing. also go to the market go up stairs theres a bar with a great blue Jays fan there Roland great guy sent us to a restaurant called Lenny's take a car ride out there amazing fresh lobster dinner go before dark gets a little buggy at night some of the girls got eaten alive. Tell the entertainment boys Barbie and Ken sent you hope you have as much fun as we did.

We love Cuba. The staff here are wonderful. They work very hard. They may run out of some things sometimes. But who cares most beautiful beaches in the world.

This is where I stayed in Cuba. Had a great time, I miss my breakfast cappuccinos followed by my lunch Spanish coffees followed by a stop at the burger bar followed by Judy's punch by the pool followed by some Pina colodas in the lobby followed by another stop at the burger bar followed by some rum and cokes back at the lobby and repeat for 7 days straight! Hope to go back again!
