Gaucha is an absolute must-visit for anyone in Santa Teresa! This charming gelato restaurant offers a delightful array of flavors !. The quality of the gelato is outstanding, clearly made with high-quality ingredients and a passion for authentic Italian taste. The atmosphere of the shop adds to the experience, with its cozy and inviting setting. It's a perfect spot for a refreshing treat after a day at the beach or to sip a great afternoon coffee.

This place is a total ten out of ten, the ice cream is amazing and fresh. Not to mention the amazing options! The store has a great feel to it with nice air conditioning when you walk in. The store also has great service and the workers are super king towards the customers! This is without a doubt the best ice cream store in all of Santa Teresa, I highly recommend!

Amazing ice cream and they are really friendly (we went on two occasions and both ladies were so friendly). It’s not cheap but the quality is great.

Dulce de leche and Suisse chocolate are the best flavours. (We didn’t love pistachio at it was quite dry).

They will let you try one flavour for free.

Note: the pieces of waffle on the counter are free. Ask them if you can have some.

I got the banana split ice cream (small) and it was amazing. Healthy amount of bananas, chocolate as well as caramel dressing.

They also let you try the flavours if you’re unsure which one to pick!

tried a few flavours and was craving something fresh so I got the Fresca Crema (Strawberry Cream) in a small cone for 2000C. Pretty great price for the size of the scoop!

A good variety of flavors, including some vegan options. The cones are made in house and are delicious. If you leave here unhappy - that’s on you.

The dulce de Leche ice cream is the best we have ever had!

Excellent ice cream 🍦 nothing completes a day better than a sweet treat you can trust getting that here. They have sweet and tart. They even have vegan options! Their creaminess is devine and their flavors are on point. Oh, and their house made cone is top notch! Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious, handmade ice cream. We picked up cones on our way to catch the sunset. Initially worried about the regular size, my large scoops of dulce de leche and chocolate almond were gone too soon! Super friendly service, too! Trying the alfajor ice cream next!

Very good ice cream and very good cones they make themselves, but I feel like the portion size of the cone has shrunk in half recently 😭 It used to be a very good deal, so I went there a lot, but now it’s quite expensive for how little you get. I hope they change it back to what it was 2 months ago!

Edit: Today I went back and the portion size was a little bigger, so they did improve 👍

Best ice cream in Santa Teresa! The flavors are creative and so good! It’s the best place to stop for an after dinner treat on the walk home. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The best homemade ice-cream we’ve tried in Costa Rica. Tried Dulce de Leche, Cheesecake and Passionfruit… yummy! The girls are super nice too. 🍦

The ice cream is sooooo good!! Especially the sorbets and the banana split ! Yum so delicious! We came back here three times! Also you get big portions in your pot!

Exceptional gelato and very friendly staff/owners from Argentina. One of the employees is a massage therapist and if I had time I would have liked to try that, too, but will have to wait till next time. Thanks for a delicious ending to a perfect day, mi amigas!
