Great find!!! Local owned pub, the service was amazing. Both guys took care of us, even gave my bestie some cream when he noticed she was completely sunburnt 😂🥲🫶🏽. The food was SO good. Happy hour was a bonus!! We got drinks & food for cheap! I had the PhillySteak Sub, she had the pulled pork.

We went at night because the reviews suggested good food and cheap drinks. We were delighted to find out that (at least at night) it’s a punk bar! The inside space is small, and they had crammed a live band set up in there as well, so if that’s not your vibe, don’t go at night. (Like, most people were standing outside in the alley kinda deal). The playlist before the band was A+++ The food we got was very good and the bartenders were super nice. If you’re looking for a place in Jaco for your punk/alternative sensibilities, this is the spot. Absolutely fantastic, 10/10. 🖤🖤🖤

Not even a customer, I’ve never been. I come back to to stay in the hostel across the street several times over the years and they have the best playlists from all genres. I enjoy listening without being in the crowd.

The best chiliguaro shot in Jaco! Great selection of beer on tap and in the bottle. Perfect spot to hang out while checking out Jaco. The staff is welcoming. Mix of locals and tourists. Highly recommend. A ++

Found a cool lil rock bar, the owners Karen and i forgot the guys name was awesome...chill spot, was playing 90's grunge and alternative, had the UFC game on and friendly people. Good spot to chilr a bit.

Atmosphere is TOP NOTCH!!! SERVICE TOP NOTCH!!! Didn't try the food, but I'm sure it's delicious. Bartenders there very much on hands and know English. Patrons are some of the nicest people. Favorite spot in Jaco!

Came here out first night and ended up coming here everyday at some point. Richie was the ultimate host! We got the Philly steak and the Sassy Dog both were fantastic!

Amazing vibe and amazing staff. We had such a great time on Cinco de Mayo, tacos were superb, cocktails really good and overall if we ever in Jacó again - will definitely visit!!! ♥

Great little hole in the wall bar! Gone there a few times and had drinks, not food. Perfect place for a cerveza or cocktail on the walk back from the beach.

Spent over a month in jaco having fun and enjoying life...met the owner and his friends and very much found myself a regular here for the duration.
Bought art of the walls from a local artist. Sang karaoke and even enjoyed an epic Halloween 🎃 night party on the street side and great food and vibes 👌 I an definitely recommending this place as I was a solo traveller and felt safe and well liked in this area. There are some areas there the other sides of town and places that are a lot less safe I would say so if your looking for a great solid , local and loyal crowd .. amazing food and great music. *Rock* and assorted influence. Then this the spot.

The best little hole in the wall! This laid back tiny Rock/Alternative bar had cheap drinks and good eats. My husband had a delicious cheeseburger and fries with a craft beer and I had a passionfruit mojito with Philly cheese steak fries all under $30 CAD. Would definitely go back.

The best find in Jaco, Costa Rica!! Amazing people, burgers AND the "National" shot is not to be missed!! We ended up spending just a few (6) hours there!! The music and people truly make this a MUST VISIT in my books!!! See you guys again soon!!!

Fantastic. I disagree with the decision to add cheddar cheese to the pulled pork sandwich (it's greasy enough), but to each their own. Well balanced sandwiches (with the pickles) cheap, has great hot sauce selection. Fries are great; although I wish they had onion rings.

You will not be disappointed going here for food. Cocktail I don't know. But food for sure come here.

Great local establishment in Jaco! Surrounded with friendly locals with wonderful food and great drinks! The staff is super friendly as are the patrons! Music selection is fantastic for a familiar sound from back in the states!

Tiny little hole in the wall! Reminds me of a small dive bar where I’m from so I was right at home. Great value for your money, guess that’s why it’s called Broke Guys, right? Try a caipirinha, you won’t regret it!
