Club de Playa Punta Leona

Beautiful setup in a remote location accessible only by a 1 1/2 hour boat ride. The tree canopy covers the concrete walking paths and the pool has plenty of sun and shade seating areas. The open air bar and restaurant, as well as the pool all have a view of the water. You may even hear howler monkies at night as I did.

I went on my honeymoon to Costa Rica, and I stayed at 4 separate places. Out of all the places, this place, hands down, was the best. It is easily accessible, with great food, and a great location. Avoid the drink package. The liquor does not have alcohol.

This was my first time here and I picked this place because it is close to San José. The rooms were clean, I liked the pool area (with two whirlpools). The food was tasty and the staff was friendly. I am planning to come back in the future!

The breakfast was terrible, and the drinks were very expensive to not get tipsy after the 2nd round. Other than that the hotel was 5 stars. Clean, comfortable, convenient, great pebble beach for exploring and taking pictures by large rocks.

I love to come here and I am very happy when I stay here and I am able to go to the beach and use the swimming pools everyone is very awesome and friendly.

Beautiful white sand beach and clear water. It's amazing and the ceviche is delicious! I stayed at my family's private beach house and had a wonderful time.

The road might be a little long and bumpy to get there but it is well worth it. Very quite beach and a great place to spend the day. Make sure to tip the parking attendant well. He protects your car

A little too crowded, but 2 beaches very close to each other, playa Blanca has a private members access only, while its public you will need to go through playa manta if not a member, the beaches are most if the time calm, punta Leona itself has a hotel for regular visitors, there are villages for the members that you may rent as well

Not all inclusive, but includes all the nature there is to enjoy.

Punta Leona is nice resort with pools and ocean. There were no waves in the ocean and swimming was wonderful. Water was really warm.
