Restaurante Lanterna

Very classy place with fantastic service located in Los Suenos Marina. Possibly best beef carpaccio ever tasted! The Brussel sprouts were interesting and large portion. Tasty and be sure to share as they are very rich. Cheesy, fried and a little spicy. The location is quite beautiful in front of all the boats.

Excellent meal, service and atmosphere! Three of us had roasted chicken, pizza, and the pasta fagiole soup. Everything was delicious! A few times we were asked if all was okay. We will go back!

Sat inside on a rainy night. Great setting. Wonderful dinner with family and friends. Steak was perfect and pasta was excellent.

This place sits right on the dock overlooking the water, and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. Very clean restaurant and professional staff. Our servers were extremely attentive. Now the food!!!!!! The food was 💯 delicious 😋 my husband and I got the meal for 2 that came with steak, 2 lobster tails, and BBQ and side dishes. Our waiters were amazing

We went for dinner. They had a special for two. We the got the steak and the steak with shrimp. Sangria was good. Really enjoyed our meal.

Dinner was wonderful and so were the views of the marina.

It would be hard to find a better restaurant in Costa Rica. To start, the restaurant is located on the marina and has beautiful beach and ocean views. The menu is large and filled with variety. We ordered the New York Strip Steak, and a side of garlic mashed potatoes and mushroom risotto. The sides are definitely for 2 people. The prices are totally reasonable. Little did I know this would be the best food I've ever eaten. It neaely brought tears to my eyes. The focaccia bread is homemade and out of this world. The steak arrived on a cast iron skillet. Absolutely exquisite. If you are in the country, you must eat here or you're missing out.

Great service, excellent food. Good selection of pasta and seafood. I highly recommend the mushroom risotto.

Our dinner was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The back patio was a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset colors and enjoy the evening. The service was good, but the price was a little higher than I think it should be. For 4 people, it was close to $200 and while it is not unreasonable, we didn't have anything extravagant either, and only 1 sangria and 2 beers. I guess it is all about location!

Another one of my favorites. On Wednesday’s they have 2x1 pizza when you buy a bottle of wine at 50% off! Amazing view of marina and feeling the sea Brezhnev as you eat delicious Italian is definitely the luxury I love. Cheers!

Awesome place looking over the Marina. The food and service is excellent. Similar feel to a nice restaurant in the US with some great Costa Rican additions.

Great location, service and the food is amazing. Large portions. I recommend having the lasagna.

We eat at Lanterna often. Now all the meals are prepared over a woodfired grill. During the dry season you can dine outside at the Lanterna Garden and look into the kitchen and watch the chefs prepare your meal. The pizza is the best outside of Naples Italy. Very authentic.

My wife and I went here twice. She loved her salmon so much the first time, she wanted to come back and have it again. So we did. And she loved it the second time. I had the sea bass, and it was also excellent. We had excellent service. It's pricey, but probably the best restaurant between the Marriott and here.

Great service and food was amazing.

Recently took a group of my customers here. We absolutely loved the food! We sat on the patio and had an awesome view of the marina and all the yachts. Awesome drinks, friendly service. We would definitely eat here again. Kings of Jaco.

Excellent restaurant. The staff is friendly and efficient but most importantly the food is amazing. We ordered a pizza and it was crusty and delicious, our pasta Bolognese was made with home made pasta, just the way we like it. Highly recommend them!

Today August 7 was a Great experience, we was looking around at the Marina for a nice restaurant to have a nice dinner for my birthday. We stop at the door of this Restaurant Lanterna which was closed but Mr Oliver opened the door and show us the menu and give us good suggestions, so we decided to make a reservation, it was my birthday and they make me feel like home, Mr Oliver, Jennifer And Fernando give us an excellent attention and the food was amazing...they surprised me with a birthday day cake and sing a song happy birthday to me...we decided to go back tomorrow again to tried the ribs that Mr Oliver recommend us...This is What we look when we go to the restaurant, excellent food and service.. thanks guys to be the best...

Great food in a very warm ambiance and great service.

We ate here twice during a 2 night visit to the area. Tried the antipasto appetizer, wedge salad, ribeye steak, red snapper, and salmon linguine. Ribeye wasn’t great but everything else was amazing.
