Marriott Vacation Club at Los Sueños

This place is amazing. We stayed in a room with a private pool. There was a hammock in the room. Tupi walk out your sliding glass door across a patio right into your pool with breakfast in bed the next morning. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the beach is quiet and relaxing. Definitely on my list of places to return.

We had the time of our lives! This property is incredible. The grounds are immaculate and our room was spotless. Great view of the courtyard and the ocean. The wildlife is amazing! Jonathan and Hugo made our trip! The staff is amazing and we really didn’t even need to leave the property if we didn’t want to. The food in all of the restaurants was great. The staff make this place the success that it is. Hardest working team of people I’ve seen in a long time. We will certainly be back!

Nice resort in Los Sueños. There are hotel and vacation club sides. The vacation club side has just a swimming pool. Whereas the hotel side has more amenities: shops, restaurants, bar, spa, kid area. The beach is black sand. It seems not swimmable. There is a beach walkway connected to the marina next door. Room on the vacation side is pretty nice with functional kitchen, big dining table, living area. There is also washer and dryer inside. Each room has a balcony with chairs and table looking out to the pool. The staffs are very friendly. They would be very delightful if guests could speak a few Spanish.

We loved our stay. The room is nice and clean.
The parking is complimentary. People at the front desk are nice and welcoming specially Michale who checked us in.

the vacation club building is off on the side, when we arrived I actually thought it was the staff dormitory and drove past it a few times looking for the check-in. google doesn't know, but MVC checkin is at the main hotel, then a short walk gets you to the MVC. I highly recommend staying on the second floor, which gives you direct access to the main hotel bars and restaurants. MVC has a "private" pool, though anyone can actually get to it. however to get any service ( drinks, food, etc) you have to walk 5 mins or so to the main pool. nice rooms.

Very relaxing! I felt so taken care of here and appreciated it. Our meals were great. I highly recommend this place for a great vacation stay❤

Great resort in a fantastic location. Very attentive staff. Pool is amazing. Property is beach front. A lighted walking bridge and sidewalk connects it to the Los Sueños Marina.

Marriott Vacation Club Los Suenos was a new property when I vacationed there and there is a lot of development still happening in Costa Rica. I was able to secure a taxi at the airport. The campus was lovely and I was even able to book the cabana and tickets with transportation to activities while poolside. I really enjoyed my trip.

I could write a lot but I'll keep this relatively short. (Might add / edit later).

We've been owners in Marriott Vacation Club (MVC) for over 20 years and visited a decent number in that time. This is one of the nicest Marriott Vacation Club resorts we've stayed in during this time. It helps that it was renovated fairly recently. Another nice aspect is the Vacation Club portion is relatively small and it's fully integrated with the hotel side. They throw in a bunch of things for free and don't try and nickel and dime you on everything - something I wish I could say about all MVCs. It's part of a larger development with many gated communities and a marina, with nice walkways and setting.

Very few cons. It is a bit difficult to get to - 1.5 hour drive from SJO. Also, if one is expecting cheap prices being in Central America, the resort, like much of Costa Rica may not meet that expectation.

Overall it's a wonderful place to just relax or use as a base to see Costa Rica.

Staying in the one bedroom plus kitchenette units which are clean, tastefully decorated, and set slightly away from the hotel providing amble privacy. The hotel sits on the coast within a larger community of private residential homes and small town center. Jaco is short drive or taxi away. We pulled the trigger on this trip quickly but have enjoyed everything thus far including a friendly staff and happy travelers among us.

One of the best vacations (holidays) I have taken anywhere on the globe. The hotel property and grounds were meticulously maintained and the service was impeccable. Such a friendly, helpful staff that made me feel like I was staying with family!

I would stay again in a heartbeat! Awesome family vacation spot.

The Vacation Club is attached to the resort. Not a lot on the Vacation Club property other than a pool (more for adults) and some beach chairs. The resort is a short walk from the Vacation Club and it’s not a bad walk, at all. The property is clean and well maintained. I’ll go back.

What a beautiful hotel!! The service is top notch! At the Spa Dary was lovely and friendly, gave me the most beautiful and relaxing mani/pedi. At the pool area and restaurant Andres is very friendly and helpful, I have to say that everyone was kind, helpful and friendly and provide great service with out being overbearing. The place is clean, the rooms are large and I recommend the balcony rooms. Just don’t feed the iguanas please.

It has only been 24 hours, but it has been wonderful. We have a comfortable, modern room with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Coffee at the Cafe, workout in the gym, lunch at the marina, drinks served to us by the pool and beach, drinks at Coco's at the local beach, mani/pedi at the spa, dip in the pool and a delicious dinner at Hacienda Kitchen!

Love this resort! It is especially beautiful! The staff are more than welcoming and helpful. The food is good too!

Smallest vacation club, but excellent. Nice to chat with other owners around the pool, talking about what to do in Costa Rica.
