Very nice people and awesome food with very fresh components! I had the Red Snapper fish and it was the best i had so far. When you come here to visit the Cahuita Nationalpark you must go here afterwards.

One of the best restaurants in Cahuita! Fresh food, nicely presented and high quality local ingredients. Recommended for seafood lovers too. The menu varies from veggie curry to meat to seafood. Loved the avocado salad and veggie curry (Ratatouille). Also, they serve the best breakfast in town. Not the cheapest restaurant but well worth the money. Very nice and friendly service/staff. We loved it and went there several times. Highly recommended!

This is beautiful little corner spot with palm trees growing out of the sides and excellent mojitos. I wanted to try the whole-fried-fish while I was here and I was able to get it here. The fish was incredible, it's really amazing finding all the odd little tasty bits on a whole fish and I totally recommend the snapper here. It's a little boney though.

Love this place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food and service are quality. You can taste the love in the dishes.

Absolutely incredible. We stayed in Cahuita and ate here a few times on the recommendation of our hotel owner. Food is great drinks are great, but most importantly the people are wonderful! If you are coming from the US the service is a bit slower than we are used to, but that is natural for the country as a whole, just a cultural difference. Make a reservation and know that everything is worth the wait and wonderful!!

We ate dinner at Las Olas twice during our recent stay in Cahuita. Our meals were consistently delicious and the service was excellent. Gabriel, our waiter, was super friendly and attentive. Notable delish dishes were the red snapper, fish stew, pulpo (octopus), grilled langosta, mussels, and the ceviche. We will definitely return on our next visit!

One of the best restaurants we’ve had in our trip in Costa Rica and we did the Pacific Coast and the Caribbean coast.
The Red Snapper was perfectly snacked and the Ceviche was amazing.
The Service was really good too. We came at the same time as a big group and the waiter came to take our orders so that we won’t have to wait.
Come and enjoy a great meal in a cool and chill street of Cahuita.

Super tasty food. I had the vegetarian ratatouille and it was my favourite dish since I am here in CR. Its a big portion, I took half of it home to eat later:) my friend had the avocado salad, also very good!

One of the best restaurants we have been on the Caribian coast. Nice fish gaspacho, great grilled fish. Small menu from fresh ingredients. Profesional service, very recomended!

Everything was super delicious. We ordered lobster, jumbo shrimps and a capriccio and as you can see in the photos everything looked and tasted awesome!

Breakfast was a joy and so much flavor. We are till we shouldn’t have. The staff amazing and 10/10 recommended… don’t sleep on this spot… love it

Las Olas was our first stop when we got to Cahuita and we were so so glad we happened upon it! The fish was delicious, cooked and presented beautifully, and the fresh ingredients set it apart from other places we have visited. Highly recommend you eat here.

One of my favourite restaurants in Cahuita. The service is amazing and the food is absolutely delicious. I've been twice and I will probably go once more before I leave. I highly recommend the sea food soup with bread. The bread came perfectly toasted with garlic butter on it, absolutely delicious. And as for the sea food soup it was a very generous portion filled with different kinds of seafood and packed with flavour.

Very tasty food. Loved every single bite. Would love to visit Las Olas again and again. Also very tranquil location. A stay in Cahita might be much more enjoyable than Puerto Viejo. Cahuita was beautiful, safe and so much more relaxing. Great community that really rally around their national park!

Best sea food in the area. Red snapper was crispy on the outside. Potatoes were home made.

A good option for dinner.
We visited this restaurant for dinner while we were in Cahuita area during our Costa Rica trip.
The atmosphere was nice and the food was good (both taste-wise and portion-wise).
The price was a bit high and I was expecting a bit more options on the menu both in terms of food and drinks. Only for these 2 reasons I am not giving a 5-star review.

Amazing fresh Tuna! I had one of the best food experience in this restaurant. I highly recommend it. The fish is super fresh. And grilled perfectly!
