What a beautiful Natural place to be! McDonald (owner) is a rock star. Very welcoming; we came across it by mistake since they have a full blow waterfall view. And we agreed to come back to have traditional home made meal (casados). Highly recommended for sure

I loved everything about it.
From the wonderful family, to the all-you-can-eat-buffet, 3 times a day, to the simple but spacious, and clean cabin.
I love to stay places like this, away from the city, and surrounded only by nature and wildlife.
And you get that, you REALLY get that!
Just waking up to the sound of the waterfall and the birds. The smell of the open fire kitchen, preparing your breakfast.
getting dressed, sitting on the porch, overlooking the colors of the surrounding, mountain dressed rainforest, and the amazing view of the before mentioned waterfall.
I loved just sitting there relaxing in silence, while observing everything around me.
I loved walking the short path through the lush jungle, leading to the natural pools beneath the waterfall,. And to take a soothing dip in the natural pools, beneath that same waterfall.
I loved my guided night hike, looking for all sorts of fascinating wildlife.
I loved.... Well I am just in love!

We having lunch here, food is good event better than most city restaurants. Of course not a lot of selections.

Great place and nice people. We loved staying here and getting to know the Donald's 😅 and the rest of the family. We already miss you all. Hugs from boston!🤗

La comida estaba deliciosa. El lugar es hermoso. Las cabañas son muy rústicas. El servicio muy agradable.

Un excelente lugar para descansar y olvidarse de los quehaceres de la vida! La Comida es excelente y la atención que da Ruth es super buena! muy amable!

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Einfache, saubere Hütten, aber man hat alles was man braucht.
Sehr leckeres Essen, top Frühstück mit viel Auswahl! Der Blick auf den Wasserfall, in dem man baden kann, toll. Sehr freundliche Menschen!

Un hermoso lugar para descansar, visitar cascadas o montaña, inclusive el río savegre, atencion excelente y la comida... ni hablar, no me canso de visitarlo.

Excelente lugar para esconderse de la vida citadina y disfrutar de un paisaje fabuloso de cascada y bosque. Jardines limpios y cuidados y unas cabañas acogedoras. Una comida fabulosa hecha al fogón al más estilo tradicional campesino costarricense. Me encantó la cabina, eso sí, mejor pedir una cobija extra para la noche fría!
Oh por cierto, cero problemas con nuestra mascota! Pudimos llevarla y fue bien recibida!
