Pachis Pan and Bakery

These are amazing pastries! I was going every morning for the stuff croissants. Try the Carmel one. It's delicious!! I carried some all the way home to South Carolina they were so good.

Great Costarican cafe for breakfast I wanted to eat everything lol. Was very cheap in my opinion. Service was great.. they do only have two standing tables so you can't sit and eat unfortunately.

On our last trip in Costa Rica we went to pachis almost every night to get the croissants. they were amazing! Highly recommend

The service is amazing and the food is even better.
The prices are lower than average. Makes for a good little breakfast or deserts.

Great place to gather and people watch kn the mornings. Good prices and yummy smells coming from there. Try the sweet cheeks buns and the curros. INCREDIBLE!

*Update* Went back to Jaco, and of course, had to go to Pachi's again. Still very good!

Have gone here a few times during our stay. Coffee is good (pretty good selection), and we really enjoy the baked goods too. Donuts, rolls, cheesy sweet buns, empanadas, enchiladas, etc. all for good prices (700 colones for most of the baked goodds). We'd sample different things on various visits, and Pachi's does not disappoint. The staff is friendly, and speak English well. Always seems busy, and we're not surprised :)

The best croissants you will have in Costa Rica. They have a sweet glaze on top that makes them to die for. I stop here every time I’m in Jaco (or driving by) just for their coffee and a croissant. They’re 500 colones each so go ahead and buy yourself 2 so you’re not disappointed when you eat the first one too fast. I haven’t tried anything else there but they’re always busy so if that’s not a good sign then what is?

I have never tried a cake like the one from this bakery. It is definitely hands-down the best. We traveled to Jaco from the US for a gender reveal and I ordered a cake from this bakery. It was rich in flavor and very moist. Also, Leo was great in communicating with me prior to our arrival and accommodating my request. When we got to Jaco, the cake was ready to be picked up at the time that we’d agreed.

We visit Pachis almost every morning and sometimes up to three times a day. Great for breakfast and lunch. Croissants, cinnamon rolls, empanadas, pound cakes, are all wonderful. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Say hello to Hans!

Update: still great three years later! Patient and attentive staff. I recommend the empanadas and churros.

Great pastries, especially the ham & cheese croissant. The coffee is amazing too, but the people who work here are incredible!!! Great place to buy food for a bus trip or breakfast!!!

If you happen to be in Jacó you have to try this bakery. There is nothing sweeter than a nice piece of bread after being at the beach all day. Or nothing better than having Pachi's bread for breakfast... So, do yourself a favor and get some bread from Pachi's

We visited Jaco with my mom for 3days and this place was our regular spot for breakfast 🤤 Great food and coffee!!

We had to try it because of all the raving reviews…and they did not disappoint. We got the glazed croissants and a churro. Hands down the best churro I’ve ever had. My husband was going to wait to eat his croissant but snuck a bite on our way back to the condo. He said it was the best he’s ever had too! Definitely worth the stop and….may be going back later today!

We spent 3 days in Jaco and ate here every day for breakfast. Delicious, fast, there's a seating area upstairs, and a fair price. The churros and a pastry that has chicken/rice/carrots (sorry I don't know the name of it) were amazing. Coffee was good too!

I'm literally planning a return trip to Jaco with my family because of this establishment. I will never understand why bakeries of this caliber exist almost nowhere in the States: simple, affordable, well-executed, high-quality. The cafe con leche is the best I've ever had, and my kids will not shut up about the croissant con crema.

This was our first morning in Costa Rica and we found this bakery really early in the morning before anything else opened on huckle beach here in Costa rica. And this place literally had everybody wanting to get something so it got my attention and my husband's. We got in line and ordered a few different pastries and they were incredible I was blown away how good these pastries were it was made me speechless it was so good I wish I could go there everyday. Not to mention the coffee truly Costa Rican coffee is absolutely the best to me in the world.

This baker was phenomenal. I love baked goods. EVERYTHING was fresh!!!! Although it's on the strip, it's definitely local quality vs tourist quality.

I LOVE their Queso rolls. And everything else I have tried was very good also. You can't go wrong by coming here.

I'm very biased voicing my opinion living here in the community. This place hands down has excellent, always the freshest products. I have tried almost everything with never a disappointment. All the staff are super fantastic, very hard workers. Always happy to help, always cleaning. Yes public bathroom and yes wheelchair accessible.
