The Beer House

Love this hidden gem of Jaco. Have been there several times over the years. Go with friends or go solo, you’ll make friends. The owner is super awesome and there are always great people here. Happy hour daily. The #7 IPA is my go to. Order pizza to eat from the place in front. The Pizza Shop. Also, you have to walk through said pizza place to get to The Beer House.

If you love craft beer, you have to check out this spot in Jaco. Cozy little beer bar with A/C, taps from all around CR. Owner behind the bar is a good dude with some colloquial knowledge.

Best darn pizza and Buffalo wings I've had in Costa Rica! Look at the pics of those wings, and they're awesome! Great vibe in here with great live music as well. This place is a must if you're coming to Jaco for any reason.

Outstanding beer pub down an alley in Jaco. The owner has several craft beers on tap, a large selection of cold international beers in a bottle, and great conversation to be had.

Great hole in the wall type of place. I found this place on Google and decided to give it a shot. Took me some time to find but honestly it was worth it. Daniel is a great friendly Canadian dude with good knowledge on beer. I bought a flight of 5 beers and got wasted before I left. Great place if looking to talk to fellow tourists.

My fave spot the whole time I was in Jaco...owner Daniel is from Canada and is very knowledgeable with beers which are amazing...happy hour makes for cheap beers..I tried em all! And the connection he has with the pizza spot 10 feet away makes it eazy-peazy to get food! Thanks for many a great times 😀

Great place for beers! Don't take the back alley to get here like I did 🤣 The owner Daniel is a super nice and chill dude. We loved it so much we came back the next night! Great pizza next door, and small hole in the wall vibes with really good beers and variety.

We walked up and didn’t know what to expect. Happy hour 5-7 daily! Coming from California, we are super spoiled with so many craft beers. My wife and I love to travel and find fun places to enjoy craft beers, and this was the best place. They had 10 draft choices and 14+ craft bottles in addition to kombucha and hard seltzers. The owner was super friendly. It’s a tiny spot but so cool. Good music and good vibes. PURA VIDA!

Great bar for a cold one and an incredible variety of local craft beers, on tap and bottled. From the kitchen those amazing snacks go right together with the IPAs, Red Ales, and way more that they have. The owners are always there and can assist you choosing the right beer for you. Great to hangout and stay open until late.

Amazing spot to get a taste of the craft brew scene in Costa Rica. Daniel, the owner, is knowledgeable, friendly and has a superb taste in quality beer. My husband and I are huge craft beer drinkers and this place exceeded our expectations. If you love good beer and great company, give Daniel and his Beer House a visit! Pura Vida! Stopped in here for a drink and instantly felt at home! Daniel and Darcy were awesome!! They provided great recommendations for our weekend stay, and the beer was amazing! Would definitely recommend!! Will be back next time I’m in Jaco ☺

One of the most fun nights we had in Costa Rica, watched soccer and talked with the bartender and others at the bar. A good mix of locals and tourists, it was a great time and the beer selection was great as well, about 10 different beer options!

The Beer House is wonderful! One of the best places to unwind after a long day in the sun or shopping on Jaco Walk. Daniel is great company to have when drinking one of their flights or enjoying shots of Chiliguaro.

This spot is definitely hidden and it is a little gem when you do find it. Folks of all walks of life hang out here and everyone's got stories to share! I highly recommend taking some time out and stop by for a cold drink. The atmosphere alone is worth it.

This is a staple of our yearly stops in Jacó. Definitely a must visit for any craft beer drinkers or anyone looking for a good time while in Jacó.

Accidentally stumbled upon this hidden gem when eating at the pizza place. My gf called it “tranquillo”. Tiny place great vibe. Owner Douglas and his wife are great people that make all feel welcome. Went everyday for a week. My go to place in Jaco.
