Vida Aventura Ranch

My partner and my flight got cancelled so we found this lovely place to stay for the night. Jorge was a very courteous and friendly host, and gave us a large amount of history on Latin America! We stayed in one of the newly built tents and it was fantastic. Stunning views all around. Jorge served a delicious dinner and helped make us feel at home. We would have loved to stay longer, but we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay for three nights in the 4 bedroom apartment. We had three dinners and three breakfasts created by the staff. They were delicious and brought to our apartment. The pool was a favorite place to hang out after a hiking in the mornings. Jorge is a great host and had dinner with us the last night we were there. We loved the remote location. The views were amazing and watching the sun rise over the volcano each morning was lovely. We highly recommend this ranch for stays for groups of all sizes. Note: there are two cute dogs that like to walk to and from the pool with you! We loved our little canine walking partners!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Aventura Ranch. Jorge and his two dogs were very hospitable, and the place was completely beautiful. We had the jacuzzi to ourselves in the evening, and the hangout space around it was gorgeous. The room was nice and clean with a lovely front porch to watch the sunset. Thank you for a great experience!

This place is a true gem. We really loved the secluded location with a well maintenained territory. Taking jacuzzi at the sunset and then enjoying the stars was the highlight of our stay. Rooms are comfy enough with all the necessary facilities, including hot shower. Rolando is a caring host who made sure that we take the maximum of our stay.

Amazing place, lovely people (Jorge is definitely the best host we’ve had in Costa Rica). Lots of activities on spot and also in the neighborhood (horseback, pool with a slide, zipline, Rincon Park, etc.). We prolonged our stay and would definitely recommend. Thank you Jorge.

Super friendly and helpful host. Very remote and hence absolutely calm. Kitchen equipment sufficient to cook small meals. Clean rooms and nice pool. Lot of birds around. Private terrace with view.

We had a very good time at Vida Aventura Ranch. We stayed for 2 nights in one of the domes, or “bubble tent” as I call them. It was a very clean, modern en spacy room. Good airconditioning, good bathroom and we watched the sunset from our bed… just amazing. The ranch is quiet and peacefull, everything we hoped for. Also a lot of things to do, if you wish. Like ziplining, horseriding, hiking, swimming and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Jorge was the best host, as soon as we arrived he was there to help us. Showed us around and we felt very welcome. If we wish, we could join for diner and breakfast. Thank you Jorge, you have a magical place over there!

Great place to visit, it's really worth it if looking for adventure and not only a vacation.

De glamping tent is een ideaal verblijf tijdens een tussenstop voor Rincon de la Vieja! Jorge verwelkomt je met open armen! Het restaurant op de site is ook handig, omdat er in de buurt weinig te vinden is.

Die Vida Aventura Ranch ist ein wunderschöner Ort, mit einem tollen Ausblick, schönen Sonnenuntergang und einem Poolbereich, der eher nach einem Schwimmbad aussieht. Es gibt 2 Pools (1 Pool mit Rutsche, für Kinder super) und einen Whirlpool. Der Whirlpool war schön warm. Ein Pool hatte eine angenehme Temperatur und der andere Pool war etwas kühler, also eine schöne Erfrischung. Jorge ist ein ganz toller und netter Gastgeber! Essen wird aufs Zimmer gebracht und wir haben auch schon teurer gegessen. Für unsere Tochter hat er einen Pfannkuchen in Form von dem Kopf von Micky Mouse gemacht.
Einzig das Zimmer war etwas hellhörig. Kommt natürlich drauf an welche anderen Gäste über einem sind. Bei uns waren sie etwas laut. Dafür hatte das Zimmer einen super Ausblick inklusive traumhaften Sonnenuntergang. Aktuell werden 2 Glamping Häuser gebaut und ein Apartment wird renoviert. Es wird also stetig etwas renoviert. Wir wünschen Jorge alles Gute für die Zukunft!

Per abuis zijn we hier terecht gekomen omdat we de verkeerde afslag hadden genomen. Een zeer warm welkom door de eigenaar. Hij heeft ons geholpen onze bestemming te vinden en ons uitgenodigd bij zijn heerlijke zwembad neer te strijken als we dat wilden. Alleen maar liefde en rust🍀♥🍀💦💦

Un petit coin de paradis insoupçonné quand on connaît l'état de la route avant d'y arriver. Un 4x4 vous sera bien utile. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, l'appartement du haut est monstrueux (plus de 150m2 je pense), avec une grande cuisine, deux douches et deux toilettes ainsi qu'un grand salon. Le ranch est situé à 25-30 min d'une petite ville où vous pourrez faire des achats. D'ailleurs, prévoyez de la nourriture à cuisiner car en dehors du déjeuner, vous n'aurez que des cocos à manger sur place !
La piscine est magnifique, le personnel au petit soin, le jaccuzi exceptionnel, nous avons vraiment été très satisfait de l'endroit. Nous regrettons juste un peu l'état de certains équipements comme les douches / les toilettes qui mériteraient une petite mise à jour ou les moustiquaires parfois trouées ou en mauvais état.

Nous avons passé un SUPER séjour ici !!
Nous étions une famille composé des 4 adultes et 4 enfants âgés de 10 à 2ans. Le logement était spacieux et répondait à toutes nos attentes.
Nous avons consommé les petits déjeuner et diner sur place et nous nous sommes régalé, la cuisinière est un vrai cordon bleu. Les repas valent vraiment le "cout" car ils sont composés d'une entrée d'un plat et d'un dessert. Les petits déjeuner comprennent plusieurs options, formule typique ou pancakes/toast et œufs et sont toujours accompagnés de fruits ! UN DELICE.
Les enfants se sont régalés dans la piscine, le toboggan est vraiment très amusant.
Les extérieurs sont splendides, les paysages, le cadre... Époustouflant !
Enfin je finirai par vous parler de l'hospitalité de tout les membres de l'équipe du Vida aventura ranch qui est la plus grande qualité du lieu.
Jossman (j'espère ne pas écorcher son nom) a été au petit soin pour nous, en plus d'être beau gosse :) et très bon cavalier, il s'est rendu disponible pour répondre à tout nos besoins ! Son sourire permanent est contagieux ! Au passage merci encore pour la découverte du piment local.
Christopher nous a accompagné lors d'une ballade à pied et une autre à cheval nous révélant tout les secrets de ces paysages magiques. Merci encore pour ce partage et vive les champignons.
Et la cerise sur le gâteau, Rolando sa cool attitude et ses superbes chemises à motifs, toujours disponible et soucieux de notre bien être. Avec pour couronner le tout un super sens de l'humour !

On espère pouvoir revenir vite, pura vida !

En periplo en costa rica hicimos una estancia de dos días en este lugar a las mil maravillas. Por allí lo pasamos fenomenal para los paisajes y la cualidad del alojamiento . Gracias tambien a la plantilla del ranch.

Jossman era "manitas " arreglando todo , muy servicial y siempre listo para ayudarnos en cualquier tema.
Y , por fin , como no hablar de Rolando muy discreto pero siempre a nuestro lado para responder a todas nuestras preguntas.
Con este elección hicimos un 7 o 11 al craps ;)

Zu dritt verbrachten wir hier weit weg von jeder Zivilisation drei Nächte. Wir genossen hier Ruhe, die weite Landschaft, herrlich für uns gekochte Mahlzeiten und die Ausführungen unseres Gastgebers Jorge zur Geschichte dieses Ortes und Costa Ricas.

Un excelente lugar, aseo super bueno, atención excelente, comida deliciosa, un lugar muy espectacular para compartir en familia, piscina, jacuzzi, cabalgatas y canope. Celebramos nuestro aniversario y fue muy bello pasar ahí. Recomendado 100 %, naturaleza pura.
