Very nice tour, super friendly people. Group was very small, guide answered our many questions. Presentation of method of brewing coffee was very detailed, the coffee very tasty. I would recommend this place for a visit :)

Very nice tour of a coffee plantation that also has some cocoa production. The guides speak very good English and are very knowledgeable of the area and coffee production. Our tour also included a coffee tasting. A little hilly, while you can get a wheel chair or scooter around, I would not recommend it.

Having never been on a coffee tour before, we didn’t know what to expect however this was a great experience. We stopped on our way from San Jose to La Fortuna. Coffee was lovely and Hose was a wonderful tour guide. Highly recommend.

Very knowledgeable tour guide. The grounds are well kept and the walk from area to area of the tour is easy. The coffee that you will sample was great and the gift shop is stocked with all the different coffee flavors and other related products.

We had a great time on an impromptu coffee tour with Jose. We learned a lot about the coffee harvested in Naranjo as well as the coffee produced throughout Costa Rica. Huge thank you to Jose for all his knowledge and hospitality!

We really enjoyed a private tour around the property as well as detailed coffee production process. Jose's expert knowledge of coffee industry and live demonstration and coffee degustations!Beautiful coop-owned hospitality and care!! Jose, our wonderful guide, has a detailed knowledge of nature, plants, animals in the area. His impeccable experience of the surroundings led us to many beautiful places. His Costa Rica recommendations made our trip memorable!! Always willing to refer and recommend! Dennis

We loved this! Delicious coffee and amazing chocolate-covered coffee beans (definitely buy some!)! Our guide, Rony, was very knowledgeable and friendly and spoke good English as well for those of us who didn’t know Spanish. ☺

We loved this place even after we started off on the wrong foot (completely our fault). Because of miscommunication between my husband and I, we parked in the city and then began walking to the coffee tour. Do not do this! They have plenty of parking. Anyway, after walking up and down a mountain, we arrived at the charming coffee plantation and had time for a beer which we very much needed before our tour time. BTW, Google gives you the impression that there are tours every hour. There aren't. Contact them ahead via Facebook for info. They tipped us off to the fact that there were going to be crowds in the morning, so we did the 1:30 tour with just two other people. Our guide Ronny walked us around the plantation and through the coffee growing and processing steps. He was well informed and pleasant with outstanding English. IMHO it's a bit pricey at $23 per person, but you're supporting a local coop, not Starbucks.

Thanks very much to Karen for an excellent tour and very knowledgeable explanation of the whole coffee growing, harvesting and preparation process. My morning cup of coffee is tasting a lot better, thanks to your detailed instructions and demonstration.
Every aspect of the tour was well organized and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
There are several coffee tours available in the Naranjo area, and I'm really glad I chose this one.

We don’t usually like tours and prefer self guided ones, but we had a blast visiting Espiritu Santo coffee! Our guide, José, was great, he took the time to explain to us
Everything there is to know about coffee farming and the cooperative, and was very funny! The tour cost 23$ but it’s worth it. Of course you get to taste the coffee, and see the beautiful plantation with view over the hills and Naranjo village. Really an amazing experience!

Jose really loves coffee, and we really loved Jose! He’s passionate about the topic, quite knowledgeable, and gets obvious enjoyment sharing his passion with others. The tour is fun, informative, and entertaining. The walking portion is a bit short, but definitely manageable - especially in the heat of the mid-day sun. Lots of tasty coffee on hand. Everything is at a leisurely pace, questions and interactions are welcome, and there’s a lot of hands-on opportunities!

We lucked out with a very small group. The traditional coffee making experience was very relaxing. The smells of the place are to die for. The tour guides were incredibly friendly.

We enjoyed with the coffee tour a lot. Location isn’t too hard to find if you’re driving on your own. Our guide is very passionate about the business and gave us great information about the coffee plantation in this region. We happened to coincide with the harvest timing and had a chance to experience how to pick the fruits. There’s a small gift shop on-site for us to bring back some nice Costa Rican coffee!

This place was a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip! José was so down-to-earth and knowledgeable of the coffee process from bean to cup. My favorite part of the tour was watching the proper way of making a Tico cup of cafe. We got to harvest ripe fruits, saw the growth of the plants, and had all of our questions answered. Great tour, and free for the kids!

What an amazing place - after driving all around CR over last few days - including arenal - nothing compares to this visit. Learnt all about coffee plants and the process, tasted some absolutely amazing coffee and didn’t want to leave the gift shop. Our tour guide, William, was amazing!
