7 days before my 4 month trip around South America a piece of my bottom front tooth broke. I went to the dentist in the UK who said there was nothing they could do but an implant or bridge which, could take months and was extremely expensive. I had heard dental care in Colombia was outstanding and affordable so before arriving in Bogota I searched online for the best dentist. Dr Raphael’s surgery came up straight away as highly recommended. I WhatsApp’ed him and he answered immediately to my concerns being extremely responsive and attentive. He said he could see what he could do in terms of making a crown instead of an implant or bridge.

I saw him for a consultation and he immediately put me at ease. He fixed the infection in the tooth and provided a temporary crown. He said I would have to come back in 4-6 weeks. I came back in 4-6 weeks where he did a scan and found everything was fine and in order he then fixed the permanent crown which looks fantastic!! I am so so grateful for all his hard work. He even squeezed in a bit of composite bonding for my upper teeth which now look fantastic.

Throughout the whole procedure, Dr Raphael was so attentive to him whatsapp whenever I messaged with a problem.

If only we had more dentists like him in England!!

Excellent and friendly service by Dr Rafael I originally contacted him regarding an issue I had with a temporary denture, under a very short notice he was able to see me and provide a solution to the problem I had, highly recommended!

This place is fantastic! My wife and I traveled to Colombia and got our teeth withened, we contacted Dr. Rafael via the WhatsApp number on his website, he was very responsive and bilingual. The doctors and staff are incredibly kind and very knowledge.

I contacted Rafael from New Zealand before moving permanently to Scotland. I had a brief visit to Colombia and Rafael was always responsive and accommodating. What I valued the most was his honesty and 'matter of fact' approach, no flannel needed. I'd recommend 100% to anyone looking for professional, flexible and high quality dentistry work. I came to Colombia for a dental procedure and chose this office for its reputation. The doctors were respectful, compassionate, and down to earth. Their technology was advanced, allowing them to pinpoint the exact location of my tooth. Despite the area's difficulty, the doctor completed the procedure in under an hour while reassuring me. The staff was great, and the recovery time was fast. Would recommend.

Loved my Invisalign treatment here. The doctor is super friendly, the treatment was excellent - I had a few special requests like wanting to do the treatment from abroad etc. and Rafael was always happy to help and super flexible.

Also, he was the only dentist willing to take on my case - I had been refused by many dentists for being a „complicated case“ and he didn’t shy away from the challenge.

I live in the USA I had an excellent dentist for 30 years and she retired. I couldn't find in the USA a dentist as her. She referred me to Dr Rafael and in the last two years he has done complex dental work (bridges and crowns) for me. I have come twice to get dental treatment. My smile is beautiful it looks very natural in color and form. Him and his team of dentists are very professional, I am very grateful they did an outstanding work for me. Highly recommended it is worth coming to Bogota, Colombia to get treated by him.

I'm a foreigner in Bogota and had a bit of an emergency with my dental bridge. I searched Google and this practice was near me, and they were able to see me the same day. My dentist, Rafael, was great - he spoke fluent English (my Spanish is very poor, so this was important) and he explained the problem and the options available. He is very experienced in implants and was very helpful. He fixed the bridge back in place, and I left feeling so much better.

I can confidently say that Rafael and carolina are pure professionals…and apart from that fantastic people. They are always thinking in the well-being of their patients. I found this dentist online and booked an appointment with them. I met them in their office in Bogota to get my teeth fixed, and I had a great experience. The work was performed professionally and with good quality. I recommend them to my friends in New York.

This has to be the best dentist in all of Bogotá. I learned about their office during my first trip to Bogotá because a friend brought me here for a cleaning and I never forgot what a great service I got.

After like 5 yrs I’m back in the city and I knew i had to come here. Communication via What’s App was great. The doctor speaks perfect English. And they were very accommodating with what I needed to get done in my short timeframe. This time I got some reshaping of my gums and teeth white whitening, and I couldn’t be happier with my smile. The gum reshaping was such a quick and easy procedure, I could literally eat whatever that day. The doc also did some quick orthodontic procedure to close a gap I had in my back teeth, that my previous ortho didn’t fix properly. It was like magic.

Doc Rafael truly knows his craft. My favorite part about coming to this office is that he actually cares about the health of your teeth. He will work with what you have and help you reach your aesthetic goals in the least invasive way possible. Sometimes we come with an idea of what we want and think that we know more than the doc, but he has extensive expertise, I will trust his opinion blindly. Now I will bring my sister so she can gain some confidence in her smile.

If you’re looking to do any dental work outside of the US look no further this clinic has the best service and experience at an affordable price. The dentist was clear and precise. The flight, hotel and food was also an added bonus for this needed trip. I’m glad I did my research and decided to come to Dientes Y Sonrisa. My experience with Dr. Obando was well above my expectations. He designed all my teeth after the cancer treatment ruined my natural smile. He commited to gave me back a natural beautiful smile, and he delivered perfectly. His knowledge, experience, professionalism and his complete dominion of the English language made my experience with well above any other dentist I have ever visited. How can I start?... well, I was very skeptical about this since I live in the US and I found this through google. I started conversations with Dc. Rafael Obando and he explained all, so I decide to take my chances and WOW, I mean WOOOOWWWWW, it's a very small site but the profesionalism exeeded my expectations. All the staff super friendy, the treatment was very fast and I mean VERY FAST, they actually made this dream to come thrue, 12 crowns, 2 root canals, teeth bleaching all in 7 days.
This is by far an excellent dentist, I wouldn't be afraid to say he is the best dentist in Bogotá.
