A nice market with endless fruits. Each stand has different prices so be careful if you’re a tourist. Each owner will try get you to come to theirs. Not many can speak English.

We bought a whole bunch of fruits, all were very fresh and perfectly ripe to have the same day.

Prices were very good compared to North American prices.

A foodie's paradise. All sorts of exotic fruit and vegetables. Impressed and overwhelmed by the fruit variety. If you love Avocados this is the place to be. Although the prices may vary and not sure if they're honest prices. Get ready to negotiate prices. Fantastic experience overall

This is a large public market. It has fruit, vegetable, meat, seafood and flower sellers. There are street food options and small bars. It was looking safe. I went on Saturday and it was not crowded. Market is clean and closed area.

A wonderful trip to the local farmers market in Bogota. My happy place to be around so much fresh produce. There are so many fruits that I have never tried before. Bought one of each of the fruits that I haven't tried. The people in the market we're so friendly. One of the cleanest markets I have been in. And oh there produce is so cheap out here.

Wow. More tourists need to see this. If you've been to the markets of SE Asia, this is clean and organized and beautiful by comparison. Incredible quantity of foods and fruits, and flowers out in the parking lot. Arrive earlier in the morning for the best stuff.

Excellent local market. Selection of everything ranging from flowers, fruits, vegetables, spices, meats and seafood, to a range of small local mum and pop stalls selling food to the folks who work there.

Rather confusing labyrinth of alleys, not entirely in a grid. Fruits and vegetables on one side, meats and seafood on another. Cooked food along perimeter. Generally. There is also a small coffee producer with a espresso stand as well selling bulk coffee. Excellent espresso for 1000 COP.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Extremely friendly people. They went and found someone who speak English so they can help us easier. So many different type of spices available. You can even buy half a watermelon or 1/4 of a melon. Avocados are extraordinary some of them goes up to one kilogram. Make sure to get some cheese. Cheese here is really fresh and you can ask for old as well. The most know cheese is called Paipa cheese which is very close to Swiss cheese. Thank you Bogota for having such amazing market as well as amazing people.

Very overwhelming on a Sunday but the vendors are nice and understanding towards foreigners. We had a vendor find a ripe avocado, cut it in half for us, and then wrap it up so we could eat it later. If you are a tourist you’ll probably get the tourist prices but it’s only ever a few thousand pesos more. I highly recommend taking and Uber or taxi to get here as the surrounding area is not very nice

Visited the market today (24/08/2019) and really enjoyed this authentic experience while in Bogotá. There are lots of flowers, some of them I have never seen before, fruit and veg, as well as other produce. Variety of fruits is just amazing, and many of them are proper exotic; we tried quite a few. Have to say that little mangoes are to die for - sooo sweet and juicy. Also, an impressive array of all sort of veg. There are some food stalls too - cheap and tasty. It is a vibrant and lively place that is definitely worth a visit.

I love going to Paloquemao. The whole experience is a MUST if you are in Colombia. Go very early have breakfast there and then shop the freshest fruits and vegetables. For breakfast I usually order caldo de costilla, arepa, chocolate and huevos pericos. People in the plaza are very welcoming and nice. I already have some stands where we buy all of our groceries. Do not hesitate on writing me for advise on where to go
