It gets a little loud when busy, but this is the most beautiful dining space by a distance in the Usaquen district. High ceilings, intimate lighting, incredible food and every drink you could ever want available. Our server was amazing and saw to our every request. You have to get at least one ceviche, go with a group so you can try a lot of things. Menus run deep at most restaurants here but you can’t really miss. We tried the seafood rice, crab ravioli, pepper steak, honey shrimp, crab croquettes, fish of the day ceviche, and the octopus. I can’t wait to come back and try more.

Peruvian good. In my so far experience majority of South American cousins are based on Mexican (less or morn corns and tortillas). However, Peruvian is really indigenous. So, this is must try (really hard to describe). Restaurant is located in very nice authentic aria (reminds me on Skadarlija in Belgrade). And this is a kind of surprise as it is far away from historic center (plaza de Bolivar). Good service. Prices are a little bit higher, but for this kind of restaurant it is expected.

We were there for lunch after we have visited the Usaquen Market on a Sunday. I believe its a great choice because they have a great selection of the Peruvian ceviches. The design of the restaurant is great even if the space is really big. The service is quick, people speak English and the food was really delicious. They have a great selection of ceviche and the four we got were all tasty and greatly presented. A very clean and tidy. The bathrooms also very clean and in general a great place where you can see the chefs cooking. I would highly recommend without sny hesitation.

First meal back in Bogotá and it did not disappoint. Incredibly fresh sea food, awesome mix of flavors, and tasty cocktails. Also, a beautiful interior and really fast service. Awesome spot for a nice night out.

This is an amazing Peruvian restaurant! Really beautiful atmosphere with delicious food! We had the ceviche and octopus and fish and dessert and everything was delicious! I highly recommend it 👌 👍

Was blown away by the food and ambiance of this beautiful restaurant. Modern industrial decor with with comfortable chairs and not too loud lively music playing in the background. Very lovely and knowledgeable wait staff. Delicious exotic cocktails using local fruits and ingredients. Extensive menus for all dietary needs. Food presentation instagrammable with flavors and textures unimaginably delicious. Not expensive at all either. Highly recommend it

Bachiche Tiradito (excellent). Causa LaMar (terrible. barely any crab - don’t get this). Ceviche Mixto (excellent). Chaufa La Mar (excellent). Lomo Saltado (excellent, ask for medium). Grilled Octopus (excellent). Planchas de Gambas (good) croquettes de gallina (excellent) for dessert, derrumbado de guanabana (ok). Suspiro limeno (insanely sweet, no). Pie de limón (ok). Chocolate cake (excellent). Chocolate soufflé (amazing, 20 min wait) Food is excellent here but skip anything with crab. There’s barely any crab in the entrees. With drinks the total comes out to be around 900,000. Good food. Good service. Open kitchen. Great chefs. Excellent Peruvian food and very fresh seafood.

This was really really fresh food , I almost felt like I am eating in an island 🏝 the best Peruvian food I had for the first time. 🇵🇪

Gorgeous places. You can feel it as soon as you found the well conceived heavy door, leading to a lofted open space with glass to floor ceiling windows and greens separating from the street. I had the mixed seafood grill and it was delicious. The Maracuyá drink made from passion fruit was heavenly with perfect fragrance and tartness. It’s a bit on the pricier side even compared to other nice restaurants in the area.

Nice place! Location is great, staff is friendly, I love the high ceiling 😱 The food was amazing, Peruvian flavors at it best! I had the octupus, so well cooked and tasty. Can’t go wrong with the tasting plate for dessert. For this kind of quality, I don’t think is expensive.

We came here for dinner two nights out of our trip to Bogota. Food was phenomenal from the ceviches to the soups to legit everything even our kids loved it. Ambience and workers was also so nice.

I enjoyed the Samon Nikkei with Ensalada Nikkei, muy bueno! Bogota has been such an experience. The food here is truly amazing!

Excellent stop for lunch! Staff very friendly to accommodate us despite being quite a busy day. Food was delicious and fresh, it’s certainly a must next time I’m in town!

What a nice surprise to find LA MAR in Bogota Colombia in the most tourist area like Usaquen..food was so good.

Easily our favorite place in bogota. Friendly, helpful service. Nice ambiance. Mixto cebiche was awesome. Loved the Nikei causas more than I expected. Arroz con Mariscos, Pulpo a la Parrilla, and the Limeña salad were all really good too. It’s a bit pricer than other places but it’s well worth it.

Fabulous find, modern new welcoming atmosphere..busy but then again great table separation....can feel warm airflow from above. I love authentic Peruvian food and this legit. We shared the classic superb seafood fresh ceviche and the Famous seafood Jalea.....then shared the most delish four sets of dessert. Atmosphere was serene and quiet enough to carry on a nice conversation.
