Definitely a place to visit when in Tenjo. Is a place where you will find many little restaurants to have a desert, a typical food from.cundinamarca region or just a coffee. In sunday's there is a farmers market and many people visiting the square in their cars and many that came here on bike from Bogotá and surroundings. I recommend to visit it on Sunday morning so there is not so crowd.

A charming colonial town one hour from Bogota. Each home and business is painted in vivid colors. The plaza has many coffee shops and cafes. This is not so much a tourist town as a viable community that is close to 500 years old. I would say this is a must see for tourists. Very tranquill. Budget about three hours if you eat lunch.

This is a place where you can sit and watch the time pass by as you watch. A very typical Andean village center, people very friendly and the architecture is very good. The place is clean and very well maintained. A lot of available space for walking, to sit and relax, a lot of restaurants around to drop for lunch or coffee, a must visit place if you are around the village.

I traveled from Bogotá to take lunch on weekend it’s cheap, a colonial and peaceful place just one hour by car, the Christmas’s lights are so beautiful.

Tenjo is still an old Sabana de Bogotá town, at least it's centre is. And it is a calm place to enjoy tipical food and sweets, baked goods, yummy.
