Great and colorful market with variety of local goods, mostly hand crafted. You can really find everything there if you have enough time and patience to check all the shops. Lovely and friendly sellers and no harassment. Safe enough within the market, but street outside is crazy and very busy, so mind your belongings.

The Pasaje Rivas in Bogotá is a historic venue that celebrates Colombian tradition and culture through exquisite crafts and artifacts. Established 126 years ago, it hosts the city's largest craft exhibition. Originally intended as a high-end commercial center, it evolved into a warehouse due to sanitation concerns. Today, the Pasaje Rivas stands as a well-preserved architectural treasure and one of Bogotá's oldest markets. Visitors encounter a diverse range of traditional games, crafts, and decorative items directly from artisans. The experience offers both a glimpse into Colombia's cultural heritage and a chance to support local artisans.

A total gem, if you want to see or buy some local products come here. We didn't see any other tourist just us. And the prices reflect that.

A handy place to get handicrafts, souvenirs, home decorations and kitchen wear and accessories. It’s one of the oldest malls in Bogotá. It’s got affordable prices.

Unique, picturesque and great to buy souvenirs, wicker fabric articles and traditional games like parques and Rana. Watch out carrera 10 and avenida Caracas.

This is where locals buy their handicrafts, much better prices and quality than any of the tourist markets. Especially great for La chamba cookware!

An eye-opening sight within Bogotá with bustling and proactive salespersons persuading you to buy their goods. Make sure you bargain though!

This is the best market for artisan products. You will find everything in traditional crafts. Clay posts, baskets, weaving, painting, wood, resin, fabric and leather goods. This is a market which is made up of small vendors in a number of sections. It is best to weave through the maze that is this market to find every type of souvenir.

Many locals come here to find everything from place mats to jewelry to shoes. Remember all prices are negotiable and you can walk away without being harassed. Best to go to different vendors before making your final decision.

Note: there is a bathroom onsite but you will have to pay the attendant 700 COP (about .50 cents). She will provide you will toilet paper and paper towel.

I found this to be the best place to purchase my mochila and mole. To give you an example the mochila I bought for 70,000 COP was available at the airport for 315,000 COP. I could have paid less but decided I wanted on particular pattern.
