ECOHOTEL MONTE TIERRA GLAMPING

Outstanding room, wonderful food, and very friendly staff. The animals are very friendly and well taken care of too. The nature trail, sauna, and view from every part of the property was spectacular. Some Spanish would be very helpful for most guests, but some staff speak English too.

We stayed 2 weeks in Colombia, in different hotels and this was the one we loved the most. The scenery, the peacefulness, the people, the food, Rocky the Dog! All was amazing. Very much worth the drive from the airport. The jacuzzi and the sauna were great! Definitely an awesome place to spend a few days and disconnect from the routine. 100% recommended.

Literally the best service I have ever received at a hotel. The glamp site was incredible. Clean, well kept and overall designed beautifully. The staff was the kindest and most helpful. 100000% recommend staying here!

More than that, the staff here is so helpful and attentive to your needs. I highly recommend this place to connect with nature and disconnect from the reality.

The service was outstanding! They genuinely want you to enjoy your experience, and will go out of their way to ensure that happens. The staff have recommendations for activities and know the history of the area. We were even able to have them drop us off in the town for dinner and pick us up (for a small fee). The views are perfect; I really didn't want to leave. My only regret is not opting for the hot tub as my outdoor bath wasn't as fun in the rain.

I highly recommend this experience for at least a few days. Waking up with the sun is so relaxing.

You can not leave Filindia without experiencing this place!!! That service is extremely wonderful. The staff is very kind and always willing to help.

Breakfast is included so get ready to be hungry and be treated like kings and queens. Oh yeah, they got good cafe con leche too.

Rain showers, campfires, jacuzzi, beautiful views, wildlife, table games, amazing plants. You truly get the full package at this place.

Gorgeous hotel/glamping location in Filandia! If you book here, plan to spend time relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The staff were incredibly helpful with every need you could have. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of private and shared areas to relax in.

The glamping tents can get hot during the morning/day when the sun is rising but, they provide AC units and fans, which help. The rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable.

We had the most amazing experience at Ecohotel Monte Tierra Glamping. The staff are all exceptional and do everything possible to make you feel at home and comfortable. The views are stunning. We went for a walk by the river and visited the animals in the barn and really enjoyed both. The staff filled the jacuzzi for us and we soaked while we looked at the stars. It was amazing! The food was delicious. I highly recommend staying here for a unique experience that you won't receive at a regular hotel. My husband and I stayed with our 18 month old daughter and the staff went out of there way to make us feel welcome and they were all so wonderful with our daughter. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are bright and clean. I promise, you will love your experience here.

We had such a wonderful time there. The view is amazing and it's very close to the town. The place itself is made with such level to detail and love. The staff was super friendly and met all our wishes. Highly recommend it if you want to have a glamping experience.

This place was awesome and so dreamy! Great staff as well and food. We walked here from town too so that was easy enough to get around after our coffee tour ended.

This may feel like a broken record if you've read other reviews. But take note: I am well traveled on 3 continents, I've stayed at multiple 5 star hotels and numerous 4 star hotels.

This place is already in my top 5 for complete experience. I want to return here as soon as possible. It has such a great combination of superb service that feels like an extension of family with how warm and helpful they are.

The location is both close to the cute town of Filandia but also feels remote and offers an incredible view from your deck and tent (if glamping). I spent so much time staring off in the distance at all of the nature before me. I sampled both breakfast, lunch and dinner none of them disappointed.

Honestly the only thing I can say is that the temperature inside the tent varied with the outside temperature due to the lack of insulation (not sure why the floor wasn't insulated better) but hey AC and a heater is provided. Oh and the hot water is inconsistent and lacking. Even considering that, you don't stay at Monte Tierra for the luxury. You stay there for the experience. Come alone, with a partner, or even friends. Enjoy the fire pit, the fresh and nutritious breakfasts, or just lay in the hammock like spot on the deck with a big pillow and watch the birds or cows/horses do their thing.

Incredible hotel! The rooms are absolutely fabulous and the glamping domes are truely exceptional!!! This place has an incredible feeling of magic about it. The views are spectacular. Alot of thought has gone into designing this hotel. We loved the jacuzzis under the stars, the fire pits overlooking the mountains, the private hammock nets with cushions and the beautiful gardens and all the wonderful little animals you can feed in the morning! The staff are amazing, very attentive, kind, and genuinely want their guests to have a wonderful stay. I highly recommend their cocktails! They also have an excellent evening menu. If you are looking for a special places to escape the world but enjoy luxury then this is it! 100% recommend!

We glamped here for a night and fell in love. The domes were perfect with all the little touches thought of (pillows for mesh hammock thing, twine wrapped soap in bathrooms, yoga mats, etc). We felt so cared for with the constant room service and pampering. Thank you Monte Tierra! I can't wait to come back.

We had an amazing stay at this very special glamping location that we can highly recommend to anybody who wants to experience something different. The staff is super friendly, the food is incredible and the view is unforgettable. The glamping tents are very spacious, nicely decorated and you can relax in the big hammock in front of the glamping tent and enjoy a great view in absolute silence and peacefulness. They even gave us marshmallows for a campfire and take care of everything you need. Highly recommend it, one of the most special stays in Columbia.

Loved every minute! We stayed in the glamping accommodation and it was fantastic. The bed is super comfy, the view is phenomenal and the service is outstanding.

I spent a couple of days in this ecohotel and it has been one of the most relaxing experiences I've had in a while. The staff take the extra steps to make you feel as comfortable as you can possibly be.

The hotel has two options, the glamping tents and the hotel rooms. The hotel rooms have a small portion of garden to the side where you can find a couple of chairs and an outdoor jacuzzi. The stay comes with breakfast included and there are a more dinner and lunch options.

There are a few activities you can do at the hotel. There's a path that goes around the farm where you can fin a small river flowing through. The sights are really beautiful. You can also feed the animals that live in the farm.

If you are also interested in going to town the hotel isn't far from the town's main park. Walking there takes about 30 mins, or if you want to take your car it's quite easy to find parking.

If you are in need of a relaxing getaway with great landscapes, amazing food and great people, you absolutely have to visit.

We are already planning our next visit!
