A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature and beauty. The staff is lovely, and the place is incredibly beautiful and serene -- there's a nature trail that makes you feel like you're in a jungle. The food is good and everyone seems dedicated to make sure visitors have a good time. Highly recommended, if you don't mind the nearest town being a short drive away

A little piece of paradise hidden away amidst the gorgeous landscape of Colombia's coffee region.

The location really is beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The hotel grounds count with a little eco-walk that leads you along a lovely path between the main building and the restaurant area, where food and drinks are available throughout the day.

The breakfast was always ample and delicious and food all around was very good, including a nice christmas dinner I was able to enjoy with other travellers before heading out into town with them and some staff members to celebrate Filandia-style.

All around, staff was incredibly friendly and nice with the added bonus of adorable cats and dogs roaming around. (Careful: cats may cause you to fall asleep in a hammock while they snuggle up to you ;-))

Internet was mostly good, but this place invites you to disconnect anyway and just enjoy your surroundings. Equipment in the common kitchen is a bit run down but that would be my only complaint.

WiFi is in some areas slow, I am not sure if video calls are possible. Water is very hot but when many people take a shower the pressure is low. For being in the countryside it is still okay. Food was good, vegan options available.

Without a doubt, the best hostel in the Selina Hostel chain. With a typical architecture of the region, the mansion has all the infrastructure of a hotel. The garden is huge and in the morning an orchestra of birds typical of the region will wake you up. A really nice and clean place. All the staff was professional and super attentive. The kitchen is run by Mrs. Alba, everything she cooks is delicious. Juan and Laura are the best hosts. The location is perfect for those who want to relax and get to know the coffee region. The pool is a perfect place after a long day of hiking and adventures. Our stay was perfect, really. Don't miss the opportunity to see this beautiful place. Thank you!

What an amazing place ! First of all I would like to thank the staff ! Specially Diana at the front desk ! She was amazing , what a lovely person , full of energy and such a good vibe ! Very helpful, very respectful , and with the cutest accent ! Thank you so much for your kindness and guidance, and also for the recommendations. Now , let’s talk about the room , we had originally picked the standard room , but after seeing the suite ! We said , it’s only one night , let’s upgraded it ! (Pics and videos attached ) The suite with it’s private balcony , a hammock, 2 chairs and a table were amazing , to relax and listening to the nature . The room was very spacious , with a private bathroom, the decoration was so beautiful , the painted background was just amazing . I can’t wait to come back and stay here again . There is a pool and a jacuzzi . There is a natural trail that will take you to the restaurant . Free wifi everywhere . Free parking , no reservation needed for the parking , very spacious place . There are fresh towels , soup, shampoo and conditioner in the room . The outdoor it’s just breathtaking , they have music on the common areas which is amazing, the music deff gives it a good vibe to the place ! I loved it , and I will deff come back ! With the attention was just enough to win me over ! Thank you all !

After spending a few days in Salento and having already enjoyed my stay at the Selina Hostel in Bogotà, I also wanted to give the Selina in Filandia a visit. Filandia is a small town not far from Salento, which is a little less touristy, but where the people are very welcoming.

I can recommend the Selina Hostel to anyone who is looking for some relaxation and nature. The dorms are functional and well equipped, there are even blankets in case it gets colder at night. The bathroom is located directly in the dorm and also has shower gel and shampoo is provided. I was told that the private rooms are also nicely and functionally furnished.

The hostel also has a pool and a heated Jacuzzi. There is also a kitchen (which I didn't use) and a restaurant area that is great for working. A small highlight is the so-called Native Mountain, a small hiking trail with a small river and numerous trees and plants directly between the accommodation house and the restaurant.

But what makes the hostel special is not only its location in the middle of nature, but also the warmth and friendliness of the Selina team. You are greeted in the morning with a big smile and have a very helpful team on site. On arrival, I was put into a WhatsApp group where the team was sharing the daily programme and menu (only on the day of my arrival, the restaurant was closed, but the reception suggested to order some food and handled the order for me).
While there is a breakfast in the morning (you can choose between eggs, sandwiches, really fluffy pancakes and granola I think- fruits and cafe monañero are always included). Also at lunch there is always a menu with drink for about 18,000 COP while in the evening there is also always a starter and main course for about 25,000 COP. Vegetarian (sometimes vegan) alternatives are also available. And the food was always really great! In the evening, there's also canelazo, a warm cocktail typical of the region.
Another highlight in the evening: sometimes there is a bonfire where you can talk to other travellers and sit together in a cosy atmosphere.

Probably the biggest disadvantage (but also an advantage) of the hostel is its location. It is approx. 3km from Filandia, but you can take private transport for 20,000 COP or wait on the road for the jeep collectivo (sometimes the locals will give you a lift). A regular cheap/free shuttle service would be very cool here!

The hostel also organises and arranges some tours, e.g. visits to coffee farms. There is a river about 6 km away that you can walk to.
In line with the Selina concept, a free but very high-quality yoga session was offered every morning (except Saturday) during my stay - a perfect start to the day!

I enjoyed my stay at Selina Filandia so much that I even extended it by one day. The team was super friendly and did everything they could to make you feel comfortable, the food was extremely tasty and also quite affordable and the structure clean and beautiful. If you want to spend a few days in nature to do some hiking or just relax for a few days or are looking for a quiet place to read/work/relax, this is the place to be!

There are many things to do here. We were in a social party, and also there was a wood fire

Ideal para descansar, para ir en jeep cobran 20k que sale a cualquier hora o tomar la ruta que sale hasta las 6 pm que también es un Jeep. La distancia es muy corta, unos dos kilómetros por si se quiere caminar, aunque no lo recomiendo en la noche ya que la carretera es estrecha y oscura.

Gran sorpresa, sitio encantador. Lo mejor la atención, los empleados. Todo amor y profesionalidad, no tenemos queja, excelentes personas.
A mejorar: Wi-Fi muy correcto, pero no excelente. Quizás sería bueno que ofrecerían servicio de cenas. Si no tienes medio transporte, por la noche puede ser algo incómodo llegar hasta el primer restaurante (aunque debo decir, que algunas noches tuvieron la cortesía de hacernos la cena, cosa que agradecemos sinceramente, ya que veníamos con familia de muy avanzada edad)
Por lo demás, encantados, habitaciones, muy cómodas con todo lo necesario y amplias.
Pet friendly, amantes fuera de serie con los animales, todo amor y respeto.
Comida buena y una vez más el personal excelente, nos llevamos a muchos de ellos en el corazón. En especial Juliette, Juan Diego, Diana y la mano experta de James.
Nos vamos tristes, nos hemos sentido como en casa y en un entorno natural espectacular.

Excelente lugar para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza, la atención del personal es muy buena y las mascotas son muy hermosas Lucy y Alfa 🐶. Maravilloso

Hermoso lugar, habitaciones frescas y limpias, lleno de naturaleza, senderos, tiene piscina y jacuzzi. Prenden en las noches una fogata alrededor de la cual se puede compartir con otros huéspedes. Los desayunos son muy buenos y queda a 10 minutos de Filandia (ciudad de "encanto"). Es una excelente opción para conocer el eje cafetero.

Simplemente increíble, si quieres un lugar para despejarte de la ciudad aquí es. Gran compañía con la naturaleza y excelente atención, lo recomiendo.

Quedé fascinada con este lugar, incluso con la desventaja del camino hacia el hotel (carretera destapada) vale toda la pena del mundo. Es súper tranquilo el lugar, desde que llegué hasta que me fui el servicio al cliente fue maravilloso 10/10, la comida súpeeeer deliciosa; el arroz cremoso y la quesadilla de queso y champiñones súper recomendada. Tiene un sendero ecológico súper seguro y bonito. Sin duda alguna el mejor hotel en el que haya estado. De seguro visitaré las demás sedes.

Definitivamente el mejor lugar para conectar con la naturaleza, con la buena energía de cada y uno de las personas que laboran en ese lugar para que nuestros días sean demasiados agradable, la comida genial, los cócteles de otro mundo, la atención de maravilla, los planes muy deliciosos, los llevo en mi corazón! ♥

El sitio fue muy fácil de encontrar. Desde el principio la amabilidad de sus trabajadores se hizo presente, tanto así que nos cambiaron la habitación por una de las cabañas especiales sin ningún problema. La comida deliciosa y a un precio muy razonable.el plan de la fogata ofrecida por el sitio fue bien bonito aunque tal vez le falto un poco de musica o algo así para acompañarlo. En general que buen sitio lo recomiendo completamente 💪🏻

Es un lugar mágico en donde se podrán llevar una experiencia de estadía muy grata, queda un poco alejado del pueblo pero no es problema porque es muy chevere ir viendo el camino y las casas tan bellas que solo se ven allá

Es un lugar muy bonito y apartado del pueblo con varios senderos espectaculares que te hacen desconectar de todo y conectar con la naturaleza :)

Nuestros anfitriones Juan y Laura fueron muy amables y serviciales en todo lo que necesitamos y nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos en todo momento.

Es un lugar muy especial, tiene un bosque con un sendero, clase de yoga y desayuno incluídos, las habitaciones y el restaurante excelentes al igual que la atención. Ofrecen la opción de transporte a Salento, jardín botánico y desde el aeropuerto. Recomendado el plan jacuzzi 100%
