Amazing place! Beautiful scenery with beautiful areas to hike too. Hiked around for 2 days and stayed a night in the hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. Definitely want to visit again.

Enjoyed Chicaque Cloud Forest Hike!
Our trip was organized by Andes Ecotours. Our guide picked us up at the hotel and took us to the park. Our guide Hector was very knowledgable and let us enjoy the park in peace.
The trails were beautiful, steep, slippery and challenging. We had a snack of arepas and hot tea with milk at the Refugio. We needed that for the uphill hike back to the start. It is definitely an accomplishment the hike back.
The hike is recommended for hikers in good shape with no health issues. It is not a walk in the park but well worth it! In total we hiked 8.5km taking several trails including El Pico.

Visited today with my partner, and we were accompanied by Camilo from Beyond Colombia. Camilo was absolutely fantastic. Despite the language barrier, he shared his work in the cloud forest, taught us about the plants and animals, helped us practice our Spanish, and he even carried our bag when we got tired.

There is a restaurant at the bottom of the trail where you can sit, enjoy the view and eat some good food. We are in very good shape, but the low oxygen level made it hard to hike so we took many breaks. Overall, the views throughout the trails and of the mountain made this worth seeing and climbing.

I would recommend this to anyone wanting a break from the busy city of Bogotá. If you can, contact Beyond Colombia and ask for Camilo to get a deeper immersion of the area.

Beautiful nature. Wild lamas. Food along the way. Horse rides. Nice place! Just go with a lot of time because once you go downhill… you gotta come up 😬

Such a beautiful location. It's otherworldly watching the clouds drift through the mountains and around you. When it is clear out it is almost indescribable seeing so far out across the valleys below.

We went as a family and loved it!

It's just a dreamy amazing place to visit, lots of space, you can go glamping, camping or stay in a cabin, there are two beautiful restaurants where they serve incredibly delicious breakfast and other goodies. wonderful wonderful guides great, places to walk. It can be cold and become a little foggier times but remember that this is a very big space to walk so you will actually go through different climate changes and if you're lucky you might see some beautiful animals along the way.

beware beware⚠⚠ You should try to wear the right shoes because Since the weather there it's a bit humid and the roads are made out of old stones placed there by there are by ancient eldersThese roads might be slipperyAnd you can hurt yourself if you do not have the proper equipment, Also don't forget to carry enough water andAnd remember not to pollute the place since there are lots of animals that live in this beautiful habitat.

We really enjoyed staying in the tree house. Zip lining the next day (after breakfast). Super staff! Great service at the hotel restaurant, great service with Zipline, great service with tree house.

We were unimpressed by the restaurant staff at the top of the mountain (park entrance). We waited for 25 minutes while they are lunch before serving us lunch.

It's a great place for hiking but you have to be careful with the signs because them and the map they have aren't very accurate, specially for the El pico route, where in my case I was given bad instructions and ended up doing another track

Wonderful. So close to bustling Bogotá, yet so peaceful and harmonious. I was hoping for a nice drive though the country side, but the urban sprawl stretches to within 3-4 km of the entrance. Despite that, when you're in the park, you're in another world.

I would classify this hike as intermediate. It's mostly easy, but people with mobility issues will not be comfortable at all in many sections.

The gorgeous hut at the bottom serves good food and sublime empanadas.

The return jeep seems to come when it wants. We were told it would arrive 10-15 minutes after we bought our tickets, but it was more like +30 minutes.

A good playground for experienced hikers. The park has some nice trails and the restaurant from the cabin in the middle of the park was just delicios.
NOT for people with not a good stamina and at least some experience on the mountains.

Beautiful park, easy access, the trails are a real challenge. If you want to be in contact with nature without going too far from Bogotá, this is the ideal place. Highly recommended.

Beautiful nature park in the cloud forest. It is a downhill entrance so be aware that it was a bit of a workout on the way back, but the incredible views make it worth it!
