Refugio Chicaque

Amazing place to spend two days at. Lots of beautiful hikes. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was amazing and friendly.

It's a great place to spend a very active and gratifying weekenf. If you like to camp heavy, or to cook and have a fire, the Potería camping zone is the way to go, if you camp VERY light, or want to pay a car to take your luggage down, and have hot water when you camp, El Refugio camping zone would be the option, I mean, if is that you actually are like that 🤨
Long, slope walks... Don' underestimate them, remember that the way back, is upwards ⛰

Crazy good food, very affordable and touristic friendly. Cool place to visit the best bits of BOGOTA and sleep in a tree house. . . Also, ask for a guide. All of them are trained in biology and are quite an asset to understand how this ecosystem works.

Great place to get in nature. It regularly rains here, so make sure to pack a rain coat. The restaurant has vegetarian food.
