A must visit! You can take a bus from palomino and ask to be dropped at the entrance of Camerones. Then for roughly $40-50k pp you can get a tour including moto to the place and the boat trip. Can't recommend enough. We used J/Yordan whose number is on another review here.

Beautiful place to see flamingoes in Colombia, I arrived on my own taking a bus from Palomino to Camarones. The community has some tourist guides who wait for you in the bus stop and take you by motorcycle to the beach where the boats are. You navigate for approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to wear sunscreen because you’ll be under the sun for a couple of hours

Exciting and incredible experience. We arrived past 17h and they still checked if we had the flamingos close by so we could see them. They let us in at 17:30, with a guide, and we had the best sunset and view of the flamingos, the sky and the lake.
If you are around do not hesitate to pasa by. Also, we learnt that you can stay dor the night if you have a tent, for sure a great idea.

Nice tours provided for locals from Perico village. Ask for Perla Guaneque, it is a group of locals that help to protect the flamencos environment and provide those tours, Kevin is the main leader of those guys. Great people and amazing experiences.

You definitely want to have a 200 mm or longer lens.

Really nice place. You need to take a guide who takes you around, on ourselves we wouldn't be able to see flamingos, but with the guide it was really nice. It's really hot there, so make sure you take sunscreen. The animals and plants are really worth a visit!

Great place to spot some flamingos. The best time to go is from end of November to January. Also there are nice beautiful beaches without a lot of tourists or people.

Great motorcycle ride to get there! We loved seeing the fishing village and boating out to see flamingos.

Beatiful place to see Flamingos. Ask for Michael when you be in Camarones, he was our guide, he is a really nice person, very rellyable and knows the place.
