Zoológico de Barranquilla

This is a good one! Great place to spend the day. Fair amount of animals, clean, good ice cream shop! Overall good for kids or just a fun romantic day!

Full of color, animals and tropical feeling. This is a place that you must visit if you are in barranquilla and you have children. My kids love seeing all the exotic animals that they do not get to see in the states, yes We have visited the Bronx Zoo and even thought the bronx zoo is a beautiful zoo the Zoologico de Barranquilla is a wonderful one in a much smaller scale. It is a fantastic facility and their weekend activities are full of educational information. We all enjoyed visiting the zoo, I highly recommend it as an extra activity while in town.

Beautiful, small zoo. The animals are well loved, even if the space is somewhat limited. A worthy stop when looking for a fun activity to do with kids.

It is small but it has everything that you want to see, so cool !

It is an excellent place to go with your kids and show them the different animals. Although, animals should not be kept in cages, it is pedagogical since children learn that animals and the environment should be protected.

A good place for everyone to visit, a jewel and pride of the city with a wide variety species.

Perfect place to spend half a day with kids. Don’t miss the show in the “Museo Vivo”.

It is a great zoo even though it is small. My family loved every part of it and you feel really close to the animals... because you are! I would recommend it especially because of the great pricing. The only negative is not much food is available. There are several kiosks throughout the zoo but some are closed since the pandemic.

Best time to go (at least for us)... Between 1:30 and 2:00. It was empty the last 2 times we went!

it is a small zoo in the middle of everything. but it is very well done and maintained. plenty of shade. only complaint is that the animal exhibits are small - but i am no expert. clean. comfortable nice few hour walking

The atmosphere is great the animals you see are unique. The plant life is one of a kind.
