Rincón del Mar Vacaciones

A unique place! It is a very nice place, not yet spoiled by tourists, and also a good place to get away from tourist destinations.
A convenient point to reach the Islands of San Bernardo Archipelago.
The place itself is accessed by a rather pebble gravel road, but each pit is rewarded by a stay at Rincon del Mar.
Highly recommended! Especially for those, who want to stay away from crowded places.

The people are friendly, hospitable and genuine. Clean beaches and warm carribean ocean. Average temperature throughout the year is about 29° celsius. It's a piece of paradise that not too many people know about.

Idyllic location couldn't recommend it highly enough. Bring lots of money and food as you will probably stay longer than anticipated and it will save you making a journey back into town. Boutique beach hostel is an amazing hostel with great facilities, stunning views and super clean. We went for 1 night and stayed for 9 and could have stayed longer.

Beautiful town by the sea. Great beaches. Friendly people. Great food. Many hostels to choose from on the beach. A tour to the Archipiélago de Bernardo is only about $60,000 COP and well worth it.

It may not be a high class resort, but this place is certainly good enough to spend a weekend. From cartagena, it takes almost three hours in car. The last 10 kms have no pavement. There are small hostals (25 us per couple per night!). Highly recommended to those with adventurous spirits.

You will get an ugly first impression afer you get out of the car and step on the beach. Costeños are very dirty and because of that, there is thrash everywhere near the "parking?". After you walk like 200 mts to the west, you will find a nice and clean beach with no vendors or loud music. It is very relaxing since there aren't any hotels or businesses at the beach. It took me 1 hour to get from Coveñas to there on a high cc motorcycle.

Great place with very few tourists! Perfect if you want to stay somewhere calm, the water is also super clean.

Lovely place, lovely people. Though very poor and humble, you will fall in love with this place.
