The place is so big & beautiful, a paradise in the Caribbean. The beach was perfect, blue and quite. The room was great bungalow suite 3 with sea views and the bed very confortable and with good privacy. The food and Johan attention at the restaurant was super and delicious, the bar was amazing in options and also the Eder and Sergio great service. Lily did flawless in the activities and guidance and the transportation service A1. 100% recommended for a relax vacations. We loved Hotel Isla Mucura

Amazing hotel, the staff work extremely hard in very hot weather to maintain a huge area.

Unforgettable sunsets, and at nighttime, the island is really magical, lit up with hundreds of solar lights!

Best place we stayed in Colombia!

We stayed there for 3 nights, and had a great time.

Even though the weather was harsh, and we couldn't do the nauticas activities (I think it's kind of rare, there was a red alert ongoing that week), we still enjoyed the dancing classes, and yoga courses activities in a wonderful setup.

Other than that the hotel is nice, it has a kind of "club med" vibe meaning that you end up spending quite a lot of time in the hotel infrastructures and maybe getting to know some of the other people staying there.

Honestly. Don’t think, just book this place. I am jealous of those that have not stayed at Hotel Isla Múcura yet, and get to experience it for the first time.

We stayed at the elevated kiosk rooms and had the most fantastic three days. A relaxing paradise. Food is relatively expensive (but still cheap for the quality) - think you’re in an island, you’re paying that premium (around £15 for unlimited buffet). Super worth it.

The staff is absolutely excellent. Cynthia was the most attentive, fun, energetic lady. Truly made our experience better. Stefany at reception was lovely and extremely nice. Thank you all for the best three days in Colombia !

Great place! They upgraded us from the Mangle rooms to a bungalow because there was terrible noise in the hotel next door. Amazing service and great staff.

Especially Jesus Avila from the restaurant was so nice and accommodating. We are vegan and he helped us and made sure we had great food and a great time. He made our stay amazing!

This place was perfect in every way. The environment is very well taken care of, the rooms are so very clean, sufficient linens and essentials. Make sure to take your repellent and water shoes to walk on the beach. The beach is beautiful and my feet are delicate so the water shoes were perfect for walking on the beach. The natural jugos are the best make sure to try them all. Great customer service and please make sure you tip, the employees would be so grateful and very accommodating. We hope to come back in the future.

Excellent hôtel. This is s very secluded island, which is what we were looking for. There are a few people at the hotel, so the beach is very private. The rooms are rustic and tastefully decorated with indigenous motives. The food was average but I enjoyed the tasty fruits. Excellent service. Very spacious and clean location.

The first photo from this post was taken by the Crespa (Cintia) definitely the best experience worker in town.

We spent 5 days there and all that time the service from the staff was good, helpful and accurate.

The rooms and the location are amazing, we had great weather although on the last day, we had windy weather and the water was too moved (Of course out of the hotel's control).

The perfect balance between natural beauty and resort sophistication. We enjoyed 3 days with our families in the remote island of Isla Mucura. Our cabins had well functioning AC, but we spent all our time outside, either swimming, resting on the beach, or enjoying long meals at the restaurant. A real gem.

Amazing place with a perfect beach. Delicious drinks and very helpful staff - many thanks to the front desk crew, especially to Kevin who looked after me and my two friends. Thank you!

The hotel was delightful. The food was quite good even though I am typically suspicious of resorts. The staff really were wonderful. Estefany in reception and Taysan in the kitchen, really went above and beyond to elevate our stay. The bungalows on the beach were beautiful and while not everything is perfect, you are on the water with an incredible view and surroundings. There were fun games to play on the ground, like life size chess. The beach was private and the water was clear and beautiful. I highly recommend visiting this special island.

This place was 10 out of 10. Total serenity, living in the nature, beautiful place - resort and the whole setting.

Estefany C, who works here, is the most amazing person - kind, helpful, positive, she made our excellent stay even better.

It was a great place, very peaceful if what you are looking for a relaxing experience.

We had a problem the first day because it was super noisy with loud music next door, but they changed us to another room in a better location where you couldn’t hear anything but the ocean and birds.

Jesus Avila made the whole experience for me and my partner way better because he took care of our vegan food and he always had a super great energy and attitude together with his team.

But as an advice I would put more options in the buffet that are suitable for vegans, especially for the price you pay.

We took the trip to the Islote and literally was 10 minutes in a bote and we ended up paying 80.000 pesos each person just for that and we had to wait 40 minutes to be picked after the tour ended. Not ok at all.

Other than that we had an amazing experience and we definitely enjoyed and would come back.

Paradise on earth, warm blue waters, white sand beaches, and tranquility. It's a speed boat ride for 2 hours to get there, so the privacy comes with a bit of inconvenience. The food is a traditional Colombian fare made with love. The rooms are right on the dock, 20 feet from the lagoon. I've never seen so many fish and birds.

Make sure you see the phosphorescent sealife at night, and snorkel the reef. The beach is best in the mornings before the trade winds kick up and create some wave action. Not enough to surf, mind you, but choppy that you will miss the earlier calm.

I'd make at least 3 days to see and do everything without rushing, and it's probably better to book 4. You will not regret it. Keep in mind that you're on an island off the coast of Colombia and not in Florida. There are no convenience stores or hospitals in the immediate vicinity.

When you go to Cartagena there ia a huge chance locals are gonna abuse with the prices and try to steal you (not kidding, not exaggerating).
Here you avoid all those risks, have a better time and enjoy the time of your life.
Prices are more than fair for what you get.
They even offer daycare for the kids in case you wanna go snorkeling or something else, for FREE!
And the place... Is just a beauty
Not affordable for everyone but if you have the chance don't hesitate.

It does not only look like heaven but it is. What a place! If you need to relax and seek for peace its the perfect place. The staff is extreme kind and very helpful!
We had a kiosko de Luxe room with sea view. It was cozy, romantic and just had a nice flair.

Stunning place. Eco style but extremely comfortable. We stayed in the deluxe kiosk and ate the breakfast and dinner buffet options. Beautiful blue beaches.

Stunning place, one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. Well maintained hotel and stunning exterior. Great service and staff. My favourite was the entertainment team guy from Venezuela. He was so sweet and kind. I’m sorry I didn’t take his name 😏

Amazing place, and exactly as perfect as described. I cannot thank the staff of Hotel Isla Mucura enough for looking after us. My husband dislocated his should while there. The staff got a doctor within minutes, and arranged with the Colombian army (amazing!!) a transfer to a hospital on the mainland where he was expertly looked after. Shoulder dislocation reduced within a few hours. I will never forgot the kindness and helpfulness of the staff.
