This place was recommended to us by a couple of different people from different countries. And it certainly does make an impression! Personally, I'm not a fan of this style, but I can't not appreciate the lengths owners went to fill every bit of space in the restaurant with Colombia-related decorations, trinkets and other stuff. The food was very good but the servings were so huge, we both got full after just two sharing starters. They were delicious though, as was sangria and lemonade. The road there takes some time (1,5h from Bogota centre), so if you want to try the food without the plethora of decorations, I hear there are some local places of Andres, but smaller and closer to the city.

This restaurant was recommended by our friend on the way to visit salt cathedral. Form the outside you would not recognize it. Thos was absolutely a unique experience with high quality meals, really nice staff. Laura was amazing. This is highly recommended and i think its used for bdays or any celebration events as they have a live group entertaining

A great place for a great night. It's pricey but you pay for the entertainment, the vibe and the party. The smaller plates are better than the main plates, so order from the entradas and share them rather than getting main dishes.

Crazy restaurant party scene. While it seems terribly chaotic, the staff and kitchen have it together. Drinks and food came out fast and hot. Steaks were delicious. The Tomahawk ribeye was delicious and cooked a perfect Medium rare. The mixed arepas were great with fresh cheese, avocado, mushrooms, etc. the. Mixto Frito was also nice with great chicharrones, empanadas, etc.

If you’re a gringo, Andre’s Chia is a must on your to do list. Truly unique. It’s like a Colombian carnival, with performers, lights and decorations everywhere.

We had an amazing time here celebrating my wife and father-in-law’s birthday (they’re just two days apart!). The food is absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is unmatched, and they had performers come and do a special birthday act (yes a whole act that lasted 5 minutes and had me laughing the whole time!) obviously it’s all in Spanish so make sure you know it well enough to enjoy.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. The steak was perfect and also a good price. The mustard and the pepper sauce was very tasty. The beer was very expensive and also the mojito.

Quite a drive from downtown Bogota. Well worth the trip. Book a driver to take you here. Great food. Really fun vibe. Drinks, dancing, music, and such a visual environment!

This restaurant it’s a must! The food is very good, a lot of different options. You can try the real Colombian experience when you visit this place. The different flavors, the best ballenato music and the staff is super friendly. The restaurant is huge! You can eat, dance and party until 3am. We visited this place in March and they had a carnival night amazing!

This was worth the hour-long drive outside of Bogotà. It really is one of a kind. Everything we ordered was delicious. The music and dancing was excellent. Most of all, the decor is an attraction in and of itself. So much fun!

I understand this is just another one of the thousands of reviews this place gets, but I can't miss the opportunity to share how crazy, great, peculiar, tasty and friendly Andrés is. I now understand why everyone raves about it.

The meat is extraordinary, the starters incredible, the service is friendly and attentive, the drinks on point and the atmosphere... oh, that's what sells it. Definitely worth a visit even if you're in Bogotá - worth the 50 minutes drive from the capital (an Uber to and from is about 20 GBP, or 25 USD).

Do not miss it - you'll regret it.

This place is unique I dare to say. It’s no only the place and decor, but the people serving and history this gorgeous and authentic place evoques, you can see with your eyes what an amount of love this place has taken in and given back! The entertaining staff is joyful and crazy!!! They will go above and beyond to make you feel happy and want to join them in the dancing. The food was amazingly: we had the seafood cazuela, steak en trapo, steak in pepper the limonada coco was a explosion of flavor in your mouth! And my favorite cocktail: El Salvador! It was all good!!!! And the portions are big! Loved the goodie store!! And had the great luck to have the owner himself sign my book of the history of the restaurant, which was a gift after a purchase in the store!! Had a little chat and got an amazing souvenir to take home! This was my second time here on this one in particular, third overall: and NEVER disappoints! You can either come for the eclectic decor, the amazing food, the fabulous cocktails, the crazy party, the lovely souvenirs in the shop or the joyful madness of the entertaining staff!

This is so far the best restaurant i've seen around the globe. The design is incredible, attention to details is from outer space. I even met the owener Andres who was super cool and shared the food with me. Apart from the design the food is best of the best and you can even watch all of the kitchen working on your food. Entertainment from people around makes it a complete package. Will be definitely back for dure. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

It’s Colombian party time here for everybody. A classic Colombian restaurant with a loving origin story. The owners are fun, creative and always looking to offer a memorable experience. It’s a huge place and people must plan their trip to Chia. The food is delicious and probably one of the best steakhouse restaurants in Colombia. There’s a souvenir store and lots of activities for your kids but weeknights and weekend nights children cannot be there as it turns into a party with a lot of people drinking, dancing and having fun. There’s live music and a DJ. You can even bring your dog. Rent a car or if you bring your car and need to find a person to drive you back that’s option too.

It is a restaurant that must be included if you visit Bogota. It is located in Chia, wich is a municipality that is an hour or more from the T zone of Bogota, this depending on traffic, but it is worth it.

It is a restaurant with an atypical decoration that makes it very original, it offers a great variety of typical dishes of the country with extraordinary flavors. The service is great, there are shows throughout the day, you feel how Colombia people really enjoy music.

There are activities for the little ones so it is ideal for families, you can dance to the rhythm of Latin music.

Definitely it is a great experience.

This eclectic place is a restaurant/nightclub. This is the main location but there are other locations around Bogota. You have to pay and get a bracelet to enter. This location has two areas and they are across the street from each other. The atmosphere was lively when we went around 9pm. They do a physical search on you before entering. We sat near to the cooks and close to a speaker so it was a bit loud for table conversation. Menu was extensive and about 38 pages long. They have more than just steaks. Food was great. There was dancing happening from the moment we arrived. Music was mostly Latin American-based with a few English songs mixed in and later added close to closing. Highly recommend this place of you are in Bogota. They have parking available at COP $12,000.

Andres Carne de Res (Chia location) is a "must" when visiting Bogotá!!! Whether you are Colombian or not.
This place showcases the vast diversity, cultural uniqueness, and ideological richness of the Colombian people, as complex as it can be!
My wife and 3 daughters enjoyed every piece of it during our visit this week, specially when "Gregorio" and his group came to our table to welcome and sing to us, with his good humor and his upbeat personality. The sash was the cherry on top!
Carolina, our server, was super helpful, patient and attentive to our needs and wants, as first-timers often have many!
Food was good, however we ordered more than we could eat! Not their fault!
Dessert was great, and the amount spent seemed right for this place!
