Hippies Park

There's always tons to do around here! At night I would recommend being more careful.

We went past there at night during another tour, a Bar Crawl, don't remember much about it except meeting this beautiful lady. We went to the Theatron to dance until the New Year. Great location, felt safe and everyone seemed to have a great night.

This central hotspot is a relaxing place to come to be amongst the locals in an urban park - without much wildlife. There are police about, and a moderate amount of people, generally - and yet still it's a known spot to sit back and enjoy yourself, apparently.

Surrounding the park are a selection of bars for a range of peoples. We treated ourselves to a coctel at cocorilo, and later a beer at another bar, that was bustling over in another corner, some evening.

So, yes. A worthy visit for the artfully inclined.

I adore this park. There’s a great energy here in Bogota. There’s seem to be a function at the park at least three times a week. It’s an easy location to find and the people are normally very respectful and friendly. If you’re a tourist I recommend a quick visit.

Nice park. Always allot going on. On many weekends there is a bicycle school here for people wanting to learn.

This picture was taken during Colombia’s national strike. This park is becoming one of the most important meeting place for students, protesters, artist, for the LGTBI+ community and for some underground activities 😉. Hippies On Da' Road, Ñeros and Gomelos Are Joinin' Da' Mess!

If you're looking for a place to sit and watch people pass by, hang out, chill, this park is the right place. It's small, but spacious enough. Usually gets more filled with people towards evenings. There's a police CAI on one corner and several bars, pubs and meal places and ATMs around or a block away from the park.

Safe spaces to hang out any time of the day.

This is a safe place, next to a Police station. It also has many cool rock n roll bars all around the area.. Good prices in night clubes, restaurants or bars in the zone..

Xmas lights look awesome

Amazing street art and restaurant to dine in . Several blocks of street foods and drinks . Felt safe while exploring the zona . I definitely recommend to explore for beautiful wall art and vendors .

Best on a Sunday when one lane of the Séptima is closed most of the day for cyclists/joggers/roller skaters. Food to be had a the stalls that open then.

Great place where youths congregate in the evenings to socialise

If you are the kind of person who enjoys scaring the hell out of romantic couples this is the place for you. You will find plenty of couples and good hideouts to cough them off guard
