We have been to Andres in Cartegena and Medellin but never visited when there was a live band. So Andres DC in Bogota was one of the places on our list. It didn’t disappoint. Great experience!
Firstly I highly recommend making a reservation. It was Saturday and the place was packed out! There was even a queue to get in like in a club but the line moved really fast. Cover charge of 20.000 COP pp wasn’t a big deal.
Service was exceptional and surprisingly fast as the restaurant was fully packed out. We ordered Lomo steaks which were very good. Drinks are on the high side but we were out to have a good time.
The atmosphere was electric! There were some staged dance presentations before the live band. When the band started, no one waited, the dance floor was packed out almost from the first song! Merengue, romantic salsa, vallenato; full crossover. The live band were so good!! What a great night. Would do again anytime we visit Bogota!

I highly recommend this restaurant on your trip to Bogota. It’s a whole experience in itself from the food to the atmosphere and the “shows” (music and dance performances). Great for small groups to large parties. Make sure to make a reservation :-) It’s a huge restaurant but very popular! Located in the vibrant Zona Rosa in El Retiro shopping center.

What a great bar!
It just looks so cool inside, just for that alone it’s already worth visiting.
The prices are super high tho! From times to times the waiters and waitresses do a little dance, that was pretty special to see.

Really great place! The artwork and decorations, were very creative and there’s so many things to look at. There are four levels to the restaurant. Each level is themed. Food is great. Staff is great.

Andrés Carne de Res in Zona Rosa is an absolute must visit! The vibrant atmosphere, lively music, and eclectic decor create an unforgettable dining experience.
The menu boasts a wide variety of delicious dishes, including mouthwatering cuts of beef and flavorful Colombian specialties.
However, be prepared for large portions and a bustling crowd, which adds to the energetic vibe of the place. Overall, Andrés Carne de Res is perfect for a memorable night out with friends or family.

We went there at lunch. Kids were permitted to enter there until 20:00.
They have many food and drink options.
Their menu is in Spanish and English.
Several staffs was able to speak English.
So, it’s good option for tourists.

I loved this place. It was highly recommended on the internet but also I was told that it is a place you should visit in Bogotá for the experience. It is a restaurant that senses party, happiness, dancing. So I'd say it is something g to consider if you want a full-party atmosphere. Food was great. The entree with a variety of fruit snacking is nice. I got two try the uchua and uva isabelina that I had never had before plus coconut 🥥and mango🥭. I got a a kind of fried plantain and arepa, but there's a ton of options you can choose from. There was a long line to get in, but don' dismissed ir the staff is quick to get you in.

Fun restaurant in Bogota. Steak was delicious. The vibes were awesome. Multiple floors that offer great music and energetic vibes. The potato balls were delicious, and their mixed drinks were tasteful and came in a bowl.

For those of you who want the bacon without the sizzle, scroll to the bottom to see the dishes in order.

If you only have UNA noche, to encompass Bogotá o Colombia en solo UNA momenta vivencia, this is the spot. “The bee’s knees”. Enjoy Colombia for it’s comida, culture, “bailando ahora” in the moment environment. You will have traditional Colombian dishes and overall quality when the food is brought out, right temperatures, etc. For this type of experience it overshadows any minor mishaps that could perhaps lower one’s view of any review.

I received great service from my host; Santiago (excellent recommendations) for how many people they are attending to… it was quite impressive. A random Wednesday night en Noviembre! They make it happen. No tenía reserva, pero as I abruptly walked in, las chicas me ayudaron de inmediato. Su nombre era “Katalina” o “Carolina”, muy precioso y amable as I was seated within a few minutes.

I took my time, había demasiadas opciones! Se estableció con suficiente comida para alimentar a 3… ☺

La comida salió caliente, en orden y empecé con mis utensilios, que no duraron mucho. I ate with my hands. It was like being in front of your best friends and giving one a compliment, only to give the others compliments. No single dish/item got my full attention for more than 2-3 seconds.

By the end both my servers asked questions about if there were dos personas a mi mesa… no señor y señora, solo yo. I decided it was best I could not order anything more, I finished everything and a little something something was being whispered around “LOMO AL TRAPO”. I am a Texas BBQ connoisseur and when you hear Santiago explaining what it is… A medium-rare cloth-salted Tenderloin, a specialty of Colombia. Sold me Faster than a prairie fire with a tail wind. Any faster and he’d catch up to yesterday.

I am still baffled with my experience, this place leaves me wanting more of the dancing. But please, walk in with low expectations. The food was terrible.

All pictured: cloth-salted tenderloin, bandeja paisa (typical)
Emp carne, emp pollo, emp queso
CARIMAÑOLA DE CARNE, arepa con queso (highly recommend if you like cheese and slightly sweet)

The short haired female server who speaks English knows exactly what a customer wants. Thanks to the server I could enjoy nice Colombian cuisine.

The filet mignon was amazing. The best I’ve ever had, and to be honest, the only one I’ve ever had :0)

High end restaurants are not my jam, and I definitely don’t do it back home in the bay area. But abroad I am a different person and like to splurge on good meals. It’s definitely an experience, the food was great, the service was friendly, the decor was amazing, there was music on the second floor, each floor had a different theme and it was A great place to end the night. No one is rushing you to pay and get out, if anything it takes a while for them to give you your check. So, if you’re in a rush, this is a fast food, I went two nights in a row, and spent a good three hours each visit. Highly recommend the experience. Must experience the vibe.

Food: The food is great they have a really wide selection and it all seems to be pretty high quality. It is on the pricier side but I would say it was worth it.

Service: The service was on point. I sat at the bar and my waitress--Laura--was so helpful. She switched to English when she saw me struggling with my Google Translate 🤦🏾‍♂, and pointed out some really great suggestions. They got me my food in a timely manner as well and considering how busy they were, I was happy with the results.

Atmosphere: this, in addition to the food, is what you come for. It's like a low-key club, in that the energy is a little electric. There are little shows and live music playing and everyone just seems to be having a good time. Its a few a floors so I'm not sure what happens on the other floors but for me I enjoyed the atmosphere of the floor that I was on

Andres Carne de Res is a well known restaurant chain that offer not only exquisite food but also a lot of fun all over their locations.
This time I went to the one close to Andino Commercial Center.
Beautiful place, very ample with a very warm and funny atmosphere.
We ordered a Bistek Caballo and a New York Tomahalk. To drink a delicious Lulada. I strongly recommend this place to have a good food and to have fun. Suited for all ages, including kids.

In the past years, I've become a fan of eating steaks. No restaurant has come close to the quality and taste of Andres D.C. Firstly, they actually give you the exact temperature you request your steak. The portions are hefty so you'll walk out satisfied and with your money's worth. Pair that with the beautiful ambience and their live music, and you've got a must have restuarant to visit. Also make sure to check out the bathrooms if you have the chance, they're really cool!
