Lodge Morrena Torres del Paine

This is a cosy and comfortable lodge just at the entrance of Torres del Paine park. The rooms are a little small but we barely spent any time in ours so it didn't matter to us. What mattered was that it was impeccably clean and the mattresses/pillows were extremely comfy. The lodge itself doesn't have too many amenities but we knew that going into it. The lounge spaces were beautiful though and we enjoyed the food from the restaurant. The staff were fantastic - always cheery and helpful and even gave us great recommendations of things to do in the park. One staff member even spent over an hour of his time, getting our car unstuck from the mud when my husband decided to go off-roading. There is also river access so if you like to fish, it's a great spot. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a simple but comfortable place to stay!

Great place to stay, super close to the park. Lodge was newly built and very practical for its purpose. Fair value with a good breakfast. Good internet and a friendly family runs the place. Only suggestion would be to check out other hotels for dinner, as the dinner at the hotel is on the more expensive side and limited. This makes sense given its location and size, but we ended up have a few great meals at neighboring hotels.

The restaurant was amazing! Some of the best prepared dishes. Ate there all 3 nights and both my wife and I tried a different dish every night. I would go back JUST for the food. Even though that was never the plan. Area is beautiful and everyone so friendly. Room was basic but perfect for the lodge feel.

We had 3 flat tires in our rental. Hosts went above and beyond to help us. Quite place. Lenga, their dog super friendly. Rooms are very clean and cozy with beautiful views. Food OK. Prepared with love. Same menu every day. If you are gluten free or vegan you do not have many choices. You will have to go to other restaurants in the area. There is no gas station or grocery store in the area. You have to drive 1.5 hr to Puerto Natales for food supplies or gas.

We loved our stay at the Morrena Lodge. The Lodge is located in the Rio Serrano area, which is convenient for driving to hiking trails/sites in Torres del Paine. The Lodge is newly renovated, nicely appointed and eco-friendly. The beds are comfortable and the wifi is good. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even assisted us with getting a flat tire fixed, which was really appreciated. Breakfast is included and the Lodge also offers boxed lunches and a sit down dinner. Each dish we had at dinner was exceptional. There are restaurants at other hotels within walking distance that offer lunch and dinner. We would highly recommend staying at Morrena Lodge when visiting Torres del Paine!

Our stay at the Morrena Lodge was fantastic! All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The food in the restaurant was very well prepared as well. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking a safe, comfortable and enjoyable “base camp” while visiting Torres del Paine.

Lodge - so much so that we extended our trip by a few days! For a total of six nights.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed speaking with Valentina and Jorghan each day about what we’d done in the Park and what was to come. Especially loved coming home to play with the family’s sweet dog, Lenga.

The food was delicious. We had dinner four nights, and found the meals better than those down the street at Rio Serrano Resort & Spa. Highly recommend the baker’s lamb, roasted salmon, asparagus soup (our favorite!!) & sautéed vegetables.

The lodge’s location is also beautiful and convenient. Close to the park’s south entrance, and in a quiet neighborhood with majestic horses roaming. Perfect for those with a rental car.

This is a family run hotel and you can tell how much love and care is put into the place and its guests. We arrived, quite frankly, unprepared. Valentina, Loretta, and Jorge went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure we had THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIME! Jorge should have his own tour company because he was able to show us condors, eagles, flamingos, and guanacos on our drive.

The hotel has incredible food and makes you feel like you are at home. They also have an option for boxed lunches, which are absolutely necessary when hiking in the park (one thing we didn’t think about).

Lenga is the hotel’s/family’s dog and one of my favorite parts of my stay. When she’s happy to see you she will bring you a rock as a present.

We loved our stay here and can’t speak highly enough of its accommodations, staff and service.

The hotel is located in an idyllic river valley with horses and cows freely roaming, just outside of the gates of the park. Honestly, I'm not sure if I've ever been somewhere prettier. The hotel is rustic yet modern. It's perfectly designed to feature views of Torres Del Paine and the other mountains from every angle. The rooms were simple but comfortable. The common areas were very nice. Plenty of chairs and tables on the first and second floors and a majestic patio in the front where my travelling companion and I drank multiple bottles of wine and marveled at the Torres del Paine. The free breakfast was good and the dinners were delicious. Some of the best lamb I've ever eaten. Overall the atmosphere was great. The hotel is intimate but still spacious, with guests and staff chatting at dinner or while checking their electronic devices in the common area (there's only wifi in the common areas).

And the staff is very committed to their guests. They literally saved our vacation! We had a tire blow out in the park and it turned out the spare the rental company gave us multiple sizes larger than the other tire. When our rental company refused to do anything, the hotel set us with a mechanic in Puerto Natales who got us the right tire so we could safely continue on our road trip and the hotel checked in on us to make sure everything went well.

Lovely place! It was a great experience to stay in Lodge Morrena. MUST STAY HERE!!!

All the staff are very polite and helpful, feels like being home with a very profesional and respectful family :).. many little details here, one of us had some medical issues and they managed to have the best doctor in Puerto Natales in the hotel. We had a flat tire and they offered to find a solution for us. Please understand this place is in a very remote part of the globe so this is actions are so much appreciated.

The location is roughly 1 hr from puerto natales and torres del paine; 45min glaciar grey so it is very centric and convenient.

Also, all suggestions for local trips were on point.

The hotel has their own solar panels in house; that shows their true commitment to conserving the environment!

Dinner in house is spectacular, especially the “Cordero al palo” grill. This experience is a must. The grill with the torres del paine in the background is breathtaking.

We stayed there 4 nights with family. The location is excellent - minutes from the park entrance; the hosts are amazing, friendly and helpful; and there's a really nice dog named Lenga (like the tree) who knows how to open doors.

Espectacular hotel en villa rio serrano, atención excelente, comidas deliciosas, guía super simpático, conocedor de la zona y atento a las necesidades, personal de comedor (Celeste, Valeria que además es gran barwoman y el muchacho de la mañana) a cual más atento. Es un hotel familiar, no es un gran hotel de cadena internacional, si no hay secadores es porque tienen grupo electrógeno, imposible el uso de los mismos en simultáneo, no hay tv pero hay vistas soñadas, no hay frigo, pero todo eso es lo de menos, es un lugar para extrañar ni bien se vuelve a casa. Todo mi agradecimiento a Marcela, Junghans, Loreto, Celeste, Valeria y todo el personal. Lo pasamos de película.

Pessoas simpáticas em um lugar tranquilo, lindíssimo e muito próximo da entrada do Parque de Torres del Paine.

O local super acolhedor os funcionários são ótimos e prestativos . O salmão no jantar foi uma paixão a parte ! Nunca comi um salmão feito como aquele ! Única sugestão e colocar internet nos quartos !

Excelente servicio e impecable trato al cliente. Ojalá pueda volver a Torres del paine y sin duda me alojaré ahí.
