Pampa Lodge
It is a small hotel located in Serrano Village. Room is clean. Staff is attentive. Since it is boutique, not many excursions are offered . The menu in the restaurant is also limited . But the food is yummy and well prepared. I will recommend the restaurant even you are not staying here .
We stayed at here for 2 days. One night , we came back so late from the lake grey boat tour. The kitchen is ready to close, helper / chef were about to leave. But we were so hungry. We did not eat whole day inside the park . The restaurant manager still tried to fix us something to eat at room so we won’t go to bed with a grumbling stomach. Really really appreciated .

This is a review of their restaurant. We were staying next door at the Rio Serrano Hotel but found their dining room to be a bit of a production hall for large groups. The food was fine, but we wanted something more intimate. Wow, did Pampa Lounge deliver! First, it’s a very rustic and characterful dining room, and the people are super friendly. Solid Carmenere house wine as one would expect around there. When the appetizer of red tuna tartar arrived, we were floored by the presentation and flavor - served on a bed of local slate rocks on top of a perfectly light and crisp puff pastry. Then our mains of a pistachio and black truffle tortellini and pumpkin cannelloni just slayed us. We were not expecting such amazing flavors and presentation. There’s a hidden genius in the kitchen here. We immediately made another reservation for the next night to see what their meat courses might be like or even just the amazing burgers we saw going by. Well done Pampa Lodge!

Edit: the next day was great too - meat and fish this time, but I have to say that their vegetarian dishes were the most creative.

Our family of four spent four nights at Pampa lodge over New Year’s weekend. We have visited over 20 National parks in the US. This is an eco-lodge in a Chilean national park which is very remote from the nearest city, two hours away via gravel roads. The staff created a wonderful ambiance for visitors from all nations with clean, tidy rooms and flavorful breakfast and dinner options- from tuna, salmon, steak to vegetarian options all prepared to Michelan standards. If you are expecting a spa experience, don’t visit this park. Only by getting out on the trails and driving 30 minutes to an hour to the trail head will you see the sights and experience the eye glory of the Andes. Your muscles will hurt but it is an epic experience and Pampa Lodge was a fantastic choice which I would highly recommend.

The hotel staff, particularly Don John deserves recognition for their exceptional service. From helping us with an issue with a tire to always being ready to help, his efficiency and courtesy contributed to a delightful stay. The restaurant also exceeded our expectations with its flavorful cuisine and cozy atmosphere.

We stayed at another hotel and came here for dinner. The friendly staffs accommodated us even without a reservation. Food was amazing, the best we ever had in Chile! Plus the wonderful views!

Amazing place, nice rooms and excellent dishes. Located near a tiver and close to the entrance of the national park Torres del Paine makes this location to a highly recommended one. Unfortunately, we spent only one day there.

We stayed at a different hotel but came to the restaurant here for dinner. It was our favorite meal in TDP by far! Stunning views and great food

Not a hostel!! They are listed on Booking as a hostel and have multi-person rooms. However! They won’t let you use the kitchen so don’t bother bringing anything to cook. You’ll have to pay for the expensive food offered at the hotel’s restaurant, or others alike in the park.
I booked a 4-person room but they put me in a queen room which I appreciate. I see comments from 4, 5 years ago about poor wifi connectivity and no electricity in the afternoon, plus the hotel is hard to find from the parking lot. I do think they’ve improved a lot since then.
So an updated overview of the hotel: first off, there are signs that provide good directory to the hotel. When you get to the parking lot, there’s a gate and a long broad walk leading to the hotel. Not very friendly to roller suitcases! If you have the private room on the first floor, there’s no noise from people walking upstairs, but the soundproofing is pretty weak and you hear everything outside of the room. There was electricity when I turned on the lights in my room one afternoon, but I don’t know if that means electricity 24/7. They do normally have wifi now, however, the router or cable was drowned because of a storm just before my stay so they used an alternative device which was only available in the common area but I was able to send and receive messages, but nothing beyond that. The Rio Serreno hotel next door had great wifi and the front desk gave me the password - THANKS!! Almost all hotels have good wifi, just ask!
I did the 3 hour horse ride at the hotel and it’s amazing! If you’re not a big horse rider, do the shorter ones so you don’t get sore for a week. There wasn’t much narratives during the ride but the views are amazing. No backpacks or cameras! They have two small bags on the side of the saddle so you can bring some water.
The breakfast is good, they cook you eggs, fried, scrambled, or an omelette. There’s bread, pastries, and fruits. They also help you wrap your lunch in plastic, if you want to grab whatever’s left from breakfast buffet. I didn’t go to the hotel’s restaurant, instead, I went to several restaurants at other hotels around the park. Basically all hotels have their own restaurants, but Some only offer restaurant tables to people staying. Also, there’s no restaurant that opens all day, that is, you eat at their designated meal hours, or it’s gonna be heat up empanadas or pizzas.
Overall, the hotel has amazing views of the torres, and I love the large glass windows which let in lots of light and great for looking outside. If I come back to the park, I’ll probably stay inside the park since they’re in the similar price range and greatly reduce the pain of driving on dirt roads and potholes.

We had a fantastic stay, 4.2 doesn’t do this place justice (nor does that cover photo here?!)! The hotel is warm and welcoming, the views are incredible. Bu it was the staff, Andrea, Fernando and Jom that really made our stay!

Do you like a front row seat, for 1/7 the cost of the seats behind? Then you want to book in at Pampa Lodge -- front row to the Rio Serrano, with unobstructed view of the complete massif. A small boutique lodge with a personal touch, clean warm wood style, with a great restaurant, fresh breakfast bar. Every room is facing the river. The picture is the view from the room. Excellent for birding enthusiast -- sleep with binoculars by the bed, pull up the shades in the morning and bird from the bed with your morning cafe con leche.

This place is an absolute jewel. We often try to avoid crowds and stay in boutique hotels. The pictures online made this place seem almost to good to be true. After staying here I can promise that this is the place to stay!

The lodge is beautiful with all the rooms facing Torres Del Paine. When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome glass of wine and enjoyed it in the living/dining area (doubles as a place for breakfast in the morning). The staff were extremely professional and courteous.

Above all the view!!! That view is breathtaking! And to enjoy it in a place that is quite and less crowded made it even better.

Other cool things -
~~ They have horse stables on property. Unfortunately we weren’t able to ride with them (did at another location before we arrived) but we did get a chance to hang around the horses. Would recommend taking a tour with them based on that.

Arrival - when you arrive and park it can be hard to know where to go. We first walked to the empty dinner restaurant on the right. Just go through the gate to the left and follow the wooded boardwalk to the hotel.

Quirks - below I’ve outlined some quirks we found so you can come prepared.
~~hot water/power - due to power being run by generators, during the day they turn them off. This means access to hot water etc is limited. This was not a problem for us as we were hiking but if you’re looking for a place to stay the entire day be aware of this. This is also very similar with most places to stay here.
~~dinner - the option of dinner is only available at a building standing away from the main location. The food was good but not great. Having dined multiple places around the park looking for a place to blow your mind away with culinary genius won’t happen here. That being said you’re here to be outdoors and enjoy the park so who cares. Their restaurant has amazing views (like the rooms) of the mountains.
~~ creaking of floors - the entire building is made of wood. That means the floors creak a lot when walking on them. When we stayed there was a couple with younger kids and the kids were running up and down the hallway late at night. The parents seemed to this this was ok and made one night very un-enjoyable. That being said the staff handled it very professionally. It’s not their fault for poor parental oversight.

Verdict:
Stay here! Yes it’s different then staying in a bigger hotel (aka like Rio Serrano) but this gives you the best experience of the place. The views can’t be beat and the staff are the best.

A unique, quaint, ten room hotel right on the Serrano River with amazing views of Torres del Paine National Park! Friendly staff, spacious room, comfy beds. No need to pay $600 per night at Hotel Rio Serrano, stay here instead! One improvement would be to add a bar to the large gathering area. But for now, you can go to the hostel next door for booze!

Delicious, fresh and innovative food. Extensive wine list. Beautiful space and really neat open kitchen concept. Reasonable prices for the area, which is remote, therefore it's expensive in general. Best food we had in the Rio Serrano valley for sure! We had the Chilean salad, Cream of celery soup, and the braised Lamb, along with a nice Carminere.

Went there for horseback riding. Unforgettable ride. Beautiful views to the Paine mountains - and really pleasant guidance by Sofia, who was a great riding teacher for out 8yo daughter. Thank you! The restaurant was also excellent - with the best view you can imagine.

Spent Christmas Eve here and what a fantastic meal! The traditional Patagonian lamb was fantastic. Great view and service plus the fact that’s it’s more homey and real than the Hotel Serrano. One of our favorite meals while in and around the park.
