Went in for cream and milk and left with 2 bags.... and some delicious chowmein and veggies
Will be back for sure.... lots and lots to choose from... delish

QF location. It's a great store layout. Their deli area is vast and has cooked while you wait Chinese food.

Next to it, they have a fairly decent breakfast area that charges $7.99 for bacon, eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. You need to go early though, the seating area fills up fast with mostly a senior crowd (no shade here, just telling it as it is). The prices are a bit higher but not out of reach. I've shopped for a lot of groceries in my lifetime, but this QF remains one of my favourites.

Pro's, Did a small grocery shop and had a hot lunch. The Chinese was very good. Cons, parking stalls are very small compared to the normal everywhere else and like in other stores expensive.

We ordered flowers over the phone from the florist section and had them delivered. The flowers were fresh and the arrangement was beautiful. Excellent value. The staff member we spoke to was very courteous and helpful. The flowers were delivered on time as promised.

It's quality foods. They are an island-based grocer, and one I don't mind going to. Some prices are good, some are higher than other places. They have a large bakery, deli, the kitchen area has some good prices, lots of seating in the café. I also like that they have local produce, frozen foods, etc. The chinese food is decent and fairly priced, too.

Ordered a Mario cake for my kids birthday. Everyone agreed, probably the tastiest cake we have had in years!

Stellar example of the island grocery chain. Some of the nicest and most accomodating staff.. super friendly people, with not much employee turnover, which speaks volumes about the workplace also. Dave, and Curtis are some of the nicest people you'll meet, and they all go the extra mile to help you with anything you need. Excellent meat department. Simply the best store for all your grocery needs!

Bruce for produce gave me the best tip ever! I was struggling trying to open a produce bag and he just popped out of nowhere and said "Here's a tip: just get some moisture from the misters" and then touched his fingers to an empty spot on the shelf and then opened a bag for me. Now that I think of it, finger licking at the best of times is pretty gross - so thanks Bruce for changing my grocery shopping experience everywhere for the rest of my life.

Besides Bruce, Quality Foods has a quality team of super people working there. It's an excellent store with great selection. Their bakery is great, and the deli is fantastic and they make the best cheeseburgers too!

Love my local Quality Foods. People are welcoming and friendly. Always a great shopping experience.

The pharmacy in QF is who I deal with. The people in here are extremely friendly and kind. As for the rest of the store I find all the staff here are all exactly the same as the pharmacy. I love this grocery store. It's 'always' very clean. Top grade produce and meat. There is just so much this store offers, deli, Chinese food, other hot food, small café which offers a wide variety of goods.

The staff here is always so pleasant and helpful! Curtis in the produce department goes out of his way to help. The cashiers are friendly and smiley and the products are overall of good quality. This is where I buy my cheese too!

Had breakfast with a friend. Simple eggs, hashbrowns and toast. All perfectly cooked and coffee hot. Very, very reasonable price. 10 lbs fabulous peaches for 9.99. So so sweet and juicy

My family has been shopping here for years. The staff is always friendly and the products are high quality. They tend to have great sales and discounts if you keep your eye out. If you are a member of the free membership program you can collect points to trade in and also can get an item discounted at the scanner near the front of the store. A company that lives up to their name.

A local florist wasn't able to assist with a 50th birthday arrangement, so she directed me to QF. I was calling from the Mainland and spoke with Corinne. I told her what I wanted and how much to spend. She made up a GORGEOUS bouquet and had it delivered in plenty of time for me. She even called me to say it was delivered. Corinne was AWESOME, great customer service and just an overall great experience. With lots of gratitude QF.....and the birthday girl LOVED IT !!!

QF is the best. They have really great staff and the name says it all. Love the daily special deal, the Chinese food and the everyday breakfast.. And 100% Island owned and operated!

Great selection of produce. I find their produce quality to be superior than other grocers in town. Nice atmosphere and really enjoy the deli section as well!

Loved the $1.49 Tuesday sale. Especially like that it happens once a month! Awesome blossom idea...... just like Woodward's used to have. Amazing way to get more customers!! 😊🤗❤

I’ve never been to a restaurant other than here that has been so consistent with their food ever!
Started eating here 15 years ago and it’s still the same delicious affordable food 3 meals a day.

No Chinese restaurant can make better Chinese food in town…. Except the pine when it was in its prime!

We moved to town a few months ago and have been shopping here. Love it! Great staff, excellent quality fruit and vegetables selection. Clean and well laid out. A gem of Port Alberni.
