Safeway 4th & Vine

I’m going to this Safeway now since many years, they are really nice but expansive, don’t get me wrong it is the same thing everywhere we go So it’s not about them particularly but more about the worldwide inflation. Anyway, I really like their fresh allée. They’re participating with the scene card situation which is nice and which can help save money in the long term. Thank you

Was there a few times last week and really liked their deli and store. Their food selection was good and tasty; in particular the sandwiches. The bakery department had a lot to choose from as well as the produce and fruit and floral section. The employees were very friendly and they have a Starbucks inside the store! Clean and stocked... definitely visiting again next time I fly into Vancouver. I really don't get the other negative reviews.

Produce section is very good in this Safeway. You get very fresh produce here.

All other things being equal as in any other Safeway, I would like to add that the staff here is really friendly.

There is plenty of parking.

It’s a convenient location. Everything you’d expect from a grocer but needs more organic choices.

Didn't swim but nice to see the pool and beyond the ocean spattered with sailboats.

Vidushi gera is the best employee here she helped me bag carry and select the best fitting items according to my budget and needs. Impressive customer service

Great store with awesome selection of plant based meats, love to see local brands such as The Very Good Butchers in multiple places in the store!

Great deli selection! Tried something new (Angus roast beef) and I think it's my new go-to for comfort food.
Service: kind and courteous. There were no lineups at the register either. (Lucky!)

Very cozy atmosphere and has everything you could possibly need.

The best sandwich bar in the city. Not even kidding, great quality at a good price. I always get a breakfast sandwich when I do my Sunday grocery shop.

This has been my neighborhood Safeway since my mom and dad took me shopping. I have very positive memories shopping here. Currently Anthony the supervisor for the night shifts, and seems like he has been with this location for at least 20 plus years, is very kind to everyone, he treats every customer, and people dropping off cans/bottles with respect and care. I have noticed he very nicely mentors, trains and coaches all of the new staff too, as well he just keeps the whole night time operation running smoothly, I tend to shop at night and find he makes the whole experience fantastic.

The produce section is well stocked even at night when customers have been selecting their produce through the day. Although the store is small it carries key staple items that I regularly use and buy. Just be careful if you are driving as the lot is regularly checked and tickets are given for a variety of reasons, there is a sign on the lot explaining them, I think if you stay past two hours or leave the lot to shop at other stores. The lot is classically very full, as this is a very busy location and line ups can be busy too.

Five stars for George (at floral today but works various positions). George speedily finessed a beautiful bouquet for me but did it with care. Always super nice and fun to interact with. George deserves a promotion and/or a raise

I order the catering platers for a kids birthday and it was a blast! They *LOVED* the fruit kabobs, the cookies and the triangle sandwiches! The size was perfect and everyone was very happy. I also got a last minute chocolate cake at the bakery area and it was also a huge success with the kids :)

The ladies at the deli were amazing and they even helped me to bring my items to my car as I couldn't carry everything. The whole experience was great (from the online order to pick up) and I will definitely order again from them!

Great deal on 2 pieces of chicken legs, Mojo's and a soda. Yum!

This is my neighborhood Safeway. It is always nice to come and shop here. I find that is very busy all the time but the store always carries what we need. On this trip we went for a booster shot. Simple and easy. And got a few items we needed. Plus a sandwich for lunch.

Open late! Which is a rarity and a blessing in Kits. Kind and helpful staff. Just slightly annoying have to take the west entrance after 9pm though and sadly no self checkout.

Last time I was at this particular Safeway, I watched a security guy get into it with some dude and take him down. No idea what the scuffle was about as it was done and over with in the time it took me to step out of the car. But I have to admit I was rather impressed with the security guy's skills.

That aside, this specific store gets my stars for the convenient location more than anything else. They're well stocked, but that's basically every Safeway out there.

Staff are friendly too. Just don't mess with their security guy :)

I wanted to give a big shout out the Patrick at checkout! (the young lad with the curly hair on fleek) I had a complicated issue and was feeling awful about it, he but he went above and beyond to solve the issue. He had such a kind and smiling demeanor the whole time. THANK YOU PATRICK YOU ROCK!

Always great service with a smile at safeway. I would encourage you to always ask people if they have air miles though. Also send your products to quest food exchange for a tax break that helps people that cannot afford food. Its a win win for the company and the people that benefit from Quest Food Exchange services! Thanks for your great customer service. Safeway always has good prices and lots of new healthier meat and product choices.
