Safeway Burnaby Heights

I honestly don't go to Safeway as much because Safeway let's just say except what is quite pricey. Let's just put it this way but when I do go I'll go for a certain things. I don't buy vegetables or or stuff there because the last time I bought vegetables and fruit when I bought them my cut into them and they were rotten in the middle. So I don't buy fruit and vegetables from Safeway anymore. But cereal, milk, cheese you know ham bread. You know desserts and what have you? I will buy but but it's fine. The atmosphere it gets chaotic on occasion but the atmosphere 's. Descent and and it's for the workers. Sometimes they're friendly. Sometimes they could be a little like almost up in your face kind of thing, especially when you ask him too many questions. Apparently they don't like to be asked a lot of questions. So try to keep your questions to a minimal to a minimum. Overall I can say some of the workers could use. They could use a bit more customer service training. I'm not going to lie but otherwise I do find them quite pricey. But like I said I don't buy fruit and vegetables there. I'll go somewhere else and buy fruit and vegetables but otherwise they're quite pleasant when you catch him. On a good day

Safeways are pretty much standard so I wouldn't say it's better or worse than any other one. I did see eggs here, I know there's a shortage elsewhere especially in the USA. Domodedochu says eat parsnips.

My go to grocery store. I really like the layout of this Safeway. I find that I can get what I need quickly and efficiently. It’s always well stocked and the prices are comparable to other big grocers. Large parking lot in the front and additional parking underground (but it’s never this busy).

Just tried the bbq pulled pork rap and it’s the best pre-made meal I’ve had from Safeway. Pls continue to make it

Cinnamon buns baby. Best around. I'd much rather buy a pack of 4 cinnamon buns here than buy 1 at cobs for nearly the same price. And I swear to god the cinnamon buns here are literally better. Better icing better everything. Although that is dependent on who baked them. Some bakers don't do as good as a job as others. But that's alright. What can you expect.

I like the place it hass good deals

Mostly friendly staff. Milk section is perf for vegetarians/vegans. Mexican food section is ok. Tortilla section is a bit disappointing. Love their pharmacy. Also, no Western Union since ages ago, Google maps hasn't been updated.

I live close to this super market . So I have been shopping in this market since 2017 . I love this shop . It’s classic and with all good qualities food .stuffs ..

Picked up flowers staff was helpful

This is such a beautiful Safeway. Love the floral department, the tidy produce department, all the yummy bakery items, the deli and of course Starbucks!

Justin made my sandwich today, he was super friendly and provided excellent customer service even though the line was long. Good sandwiches are worth the wait 100%, he deserves to be recognized for his work attitude.

I have been a customer for decades, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They have many fresh herbs in their hydroponic setup, extensive bakery, and very professional pharmacy department!

I visited safeway today and was looking for something. Ana was in the Meat and Seafood area and she helped me find what I was looking for I was carrying my baby and she was very nice to us, she is definitely the type of employee we want to find in any store, her service is top.

One of my Favorite Safeway ever , it's my second Safeway in my community I have Kensington as well closer but I used this location first and more often for some reason. The staff are great and friendly always I love the Starbucks hot chocolate there lol....always a clean store and shelves well stocked but as grocer s go Safeway is the leader in community unless you are prone to the bigger centers like the superstore where you don't get the personal touch ,I think this store and location is choice....

I enjoy going to this Safeway a lot. It's my first choice when it comes to Supermarkets nearby. The prices are fine, some are pricey and some are cheap. It's really nice when I see some special deals sometimes.

The most clean and organized Safeway I've visited. Service is always socially open.
