Terra Cotta Country Store

This is a great area for local finds and Terra Cotta Country Store is a must! The bakery is great, and you should really try their brie fig croissants!! They are so good!

Be sure to put this place on your list when visiting the area. Wife and I grabbed a Frozen Yogurt and had a chat with one of the owners. Beautiful little store and a great atmosphere. Excellent service. Keep up the great service.

What a cute little store! Coffee, food and ice cream were amazing. Even better was the staff who were super friendly. Will be back for sure and will recommend to everyone we know!

Great store strongly recommend that anyone close stop by. Just a small walk from the trail. My family enjoyed the coffee and apple cake and they were so kind to give my pooch a cookie and a bandana. Will 100% go back and try more stuff

A small, but really lovely, country store. I would visit again!
[Parking] There is limited, free parking on site, but there is another small (free) lot down the street.
[Accessibility] It doesn't have a very accessible entrance, and the store is tight inside.
[Atmosphere] Such a great atmosphere with unique items for sale and things to look at everywhere. They also have a sitting area outside.
[Service] Super friendly and helpful. They take good care of customers. They take cash, debit, or credit.
[Products] They serve a good variety of baked goods that look delicious. They also have coffee and specialty drinks and ice cream!

The most darling shop, owned by the loveliest family. Four generations in my family have had the pleasure of visiting Terra Cotta Country Store for many years, and are always so excited to see and taste what new delights are in store. They have a lovely selection of freshly baked and very delicious desserts (favourites include butter tarts and apple cake) as well as incredible icecream and beverages. The shop is also filled with beautiful and unique artisanal gift items, jewelry, accessories and home decor, where I'm always successful in finding special treasures to bring home. A visit to this shop will give you total warm fuzzies and joy.

Terra Cotta Country Store is a quaint family-run store with incredibly high quality food.

We tried their ice cream as well as their fig and brie croissants. The croissants very amazing; they were fresh with a well balanced flavour of both the cheese and the fig. Next, for ice cream we got the Salty Caramel and the Raspberry Bugaboo. The Salty Caramel was creamy and rich in flavour- it’s one of the best salted caramel ice creams I’ve had! The Bugaboo tasted more like a sorbet but it was definitely a unique flavour and was very refreshing too.

There are a few benches on-site where you can sit otherwise it’s mainly take out for now. Overall, we throughly enjoyed the food and the vibe. This place is a hidden gem and is definitely worth visiting!

This store is a neighbourhood gem. The owners are lovely and the items for sale are all reasonably priced and of the utmost quality. While it may be called a "country" store, there are items for everyone - including really beautiful and stylish clothing and accessories. The butter tarts are to die for and the coffee is excellent and so well priced. Next time you're out for a hike in the Terra Cotta Conservation area, definitely stop in for a browse and a tea latte!

This place and the family who runs it are absolute gems! I had decadent moose tracks ice cream and a refreshing dragon fruit iced tea and brought home butter tarts and berry scones. Everything was absolutely delicious and my husband especially loved the butter tarts.

Welcomed with a smile, maybe busy at times but it's worth the wait.
YES it's open during the King Street construction. Get to it by King Street, coming in from the east end..or from the north come down Winston Churchill. Find a place to park on the street and walk down into store. Then enjoy a local walk on all the trails or at the conservation area.

It's a very charming store. The people are friendly. The ice cream was really yummy and for a good price you get a lot.

A great local shop operated by a great family. Offering up canned goods, icecream, yummy milk shakes and pastries...Not to mention their butter tarts, dam they're good. Being a butter tart lover I've had my share, and these are up there at the top👏Stop by on the weekends/holidays 11-5pm for your treat of the day.

I have been a patron of the lovely Terra Cotta Country Store for many years. My experiences there have ALWAYS been amazing. Upon entering the store, I am always greeted with the friendly smiles of the wonderful owners. Always a cozy and comfortable experience is had. The owners have filled the store with unique items for an excellent price. This year they have introduced a small café area with wonderful coffee and delicious pastries and treats that are freshly baked and prepared. Delicious ice cream too! You will not be disappointed with time spent at this quaint and special family run business. One of my very favorite places to go!!!!

My family and I have visited Terra Cotta Country Store a few times and we absolutely love it. This family-owned and operated store is located in a superb location for those who bike, go for a jog and in our case go for Sunday afternoon long drives.
The whole family is genuinely nice and will welcome you with beautiful smiles.

What a wonderful and heart-warming experience we have every time we visit the Terra Cotta Country Store. We were on a drive with our family this past Mother's Day to purchase a bicycle at another local business (for my beautiful wife) when we decided to stop in to the store for ice cream as a treat. Not only were we treated like family but so was every other customer that arrived during our visit. We were also delighted to see that the store is now offering freshly baked treats to go along with their hot coffee and cider. In this day of the big-box stores where people are rushed and no customer service can be found, the Terra Cotta Country Store is a great place for retreat on a weekend where you can slow down and enjoy the better things in life like family and friends.

Always love coming here. Their baking is amazing. Today we had ice cream and frozen yogurt - delicious.
