Super C

Super C is by far one of my favorite discount supermarkets in Gatineau. Did you know that Super C is a Québec discount supermarket chain with 101 stores across Québec?

I simply love Super C as it has a large variety of items for affordable prices.

I especially like the red color it exhibits in all its ads and pamphlets.

Its reusable bags are the cheapest compared to Maxi, Walmart, and Adonis.

I do the online grocery and am always pleased with my order and the service is very friendly

Love the meat specials and surprise sales. Quick and simple shopping. Noticed that the self service area was moved and a lot bigger. Great deals on ice cream as well. Disappointed that they don't carry figer sandwiches anymore. Otherwise completely happy 😊

One of my favorite grocery market in Gatineau. It is clean, spacious and their produces are usually quite fresh.
however , they do often run out of stock for their items on sale; especially meat.
Fortunately, they do give out rain check with gives 10% discount. So do inquire for rain check if they ran out of stock.
Also note , rain check cannot be used at self check out. You have to go Theo right regularly cashier counters. I made a mistake going through self check out and ended having to line up twice.

While super c is a basic budget grocery chain, the produce section has a better selection, better quality, and lower prices than the fancier Metro and IGA groceries in the area. They usually have decent brands of beer on sale.

Update for 2022: Produce section is still the best. Beef selection is not so good, so it's usually necessary to go to Costco for that. Grocery staples and specialty item selection continues to improve.

It's well set up. Very clean and spacious isles.
It wasn't busy when I was there about 9:30 a.m.

Had a few troubles searching for someone,but when I did, he was very accommodating, polite and respectful.

The cashier was also forthcoming about products I had intended to buy and specials that affected them.

First time going there out of the blue. It has great prices staff is friendly will help you kindly. Good place to do groceries if you are on the Gatineau side.

Great produce and excellent prices for items on sale.

Very good store but for the love of god its noon on a Saturday. Open all your cash register lanes. 3 open with a bunch of people waiting is not good.

Always have good stock, fresh products and fairly good deals every week. Store is clean as well

I always go there because of the quality of their fruits and vegetables.
Also, better price then most groceries i went to.

It was packed but it felt great to get out and about. Also the plandemic has had little effect on the staff and the store overall.
