Walking through this store was nostalgic. The selection of African foodstuffs, proteins, vegetables, and most importantly, seasonings and spices, was extensive. The aisles were filled with familiar scents and flavors, evoking memories of home. It was a delight to find such a variety of ingredients, making it easier to recreate traditional dishes. The store's ambiance added to the experience, making it feel like a piece of Africa in Canada. Overall, a fantastic place for anyone looking to cook authentic African cuisine or simply to explore and discover new flavors.

I love to shop here, their fresh meat are reasonable in prices. It's right at Jane and Wilson intersection which is very convenient for bus commuters.

My best African food center for now. Nice fresh meat, roasted meat, great African collections, but they needed to work on the Cassava leaf. The cassava leaf package are well packed but was always poorly grind or pounded, like we would have it in Liberia. However, recently I notice some improvements on the pounded cassava leaf. Nice African music sound coming out from the clean and clear sound system. Great place to visit for African Groceries.

I can give them more stars if available. They are efficient. They sell good products at reasonable prices and the service is timely.

For the selection of authentic African foods this place can't be beat. They also sell delicious Cuban honey for $5. A better name for this place would be the Afro-Caribbean Food & Cut Eye Dispensary.

For starters, Jane Street has probably one of the highest cut-eye-per-capita rates in the city.

From the time you get out of your car to the time you leave, people are just giving side eye for No. Reason. At. All. The staff are chill. It's the patrons i am speaking of here.

Also, if you wish to hold your place in line you have to give a lot of cut eye in every direction since everyone feels it's their God-given right to go first regardless of when they arrived.

UPDATE: The honey is now $7 and the line situation has improved a lot.

This place is not just for Africans and Carribeans. They sell groceries for other cultures as well ... Indian, Turskish, Greek, Italian, Persian etc. They need a bigger space though They are fully stocked, OMG ... One stop grocery store. Staff do a good job at being polite. I've see some really rude customers over there... but the staff maintained their composure. Good ....
