Canac

This place is so much cheaper than any other hardware store, like Home Depot.. Canadian Tire etc. They supply the same merchandise and have a vast gardening centre, the only downside it's busy on weekends.

It came that time when I needed to change my water heater tank and my plumber recommended Canac. I went and found the model he recommended to buy (10y warranty, so I'll be good for some time ) . It was my first time there. You don't see the models inside but on the website then you go and tell them what model you want to buy. They'll print your order and then you pay as normally. After that , since is a big item, I drove around to the back of Canac and they bring it out. Loaded in 4he car, arrow to the sky, and slowly brought him home. You need to plan this stuff , since you'll need someone to help you unloaded and carry inside. All in all a good experience, but I'll need to return to explore for another day the other departments

What a beautiful service , employee are so respectful, it’s a place you can call it home, all what you need for home renovation or decor, Spock to Mr Robert he guide me for all information needed, and lixine the girl at the service she is so kind with full respect.
Believe me guys that’s the place I will be for all my renovation and décor for my home and I advise all everyone to go buy from that place the second you enter employee welcome you guid you help you with full respect and they are stress free. That’s the place where I buy all what I need and will advise all friends and family to go buy and support that place it is a name that you can trust .
Please do not forget mask, wash your hand for 20 second or more and the most important two meters distance, be safe .

There is nothing missing or bad about it to give 4 points. Actually, there is not a very good reason to give 5. Himm... toilets are clean. employees speak good english. these are positive points. On the downside, there is a different rush of people inside, as if everything is very cheap and there is a rush to go and go, as if it will end immediately. It is strange. I could not find everything I was looking for. but go see. prices are affordable.

I did alot of comparisons, it's the cheapest price hardware store ! Always a few dollars less than the competition.The Only real Quebec owned hardware store. I think it's worth the extra 15 minutes from where I live to get there. The negative : Selection may not be as good as other stores so check out their website first if you need a particular brand. Isles are a bit narrow, cramped but easy to overlook with what I save in price. I wish they had a Canac in Boucherville.

Canac is great. A small store compared to some of the larger hardware stores, but that means that it's easier to find everything you need for whatever project you have. I've never had any troubles finding what I need there, and the staff are always very kind and helpful. This is my go-to hardware store.

Love this place. Prices are generally cheaper than home depot, reno depot and rona. But still compare online as i usually do but as mentioned generally they are much cheaper. Always well stocked, clean and organized. Well worth the detour if it is not next to your home. The savings alone will pay for the gas and your time getting there.

Wow! Store was very tasteful and enticing in setup...staff was A+...prices very competitive...liked much better than reno, home, etc.

Big box hardware store with tons of choices and varieties. The prices are in general lower than your more known brand large stores. If you're lucky enough to go to one, you'll be pleased.

This place is way better than Rona !

As a queen who spent a lot of coin on the cash down of her first castle, I appreciate the low price and quality of their wares. The competition should be shook because I have been to all hardwares stores for my outside renovation and Canac always deliver at the best price.

This place has such good finds! It’s a bit further out from the island of Montreal but totally worth it. we were hoping to get an abris auto for the winter and online had the best deals, but unfortunately you can’t order online you have to go to the store. It said online there was 6 available but by the time we got there, they were sold out of the 18x20.
Other than that the guy that helped us was super friendly and did everything he can. We ended up buying other stuff from canac that is totally worth it!

The best prices on a lot of home improvement articles. The store inside is to navigate, very clean, nice design. Theta customer service desk in every department that will help you find your products at answer to any of your questions. There is also a garden section available with the best prices by far on any garden articles. Would have been great to have some stores in Montreal. American express credit card not accepted.

Great deals to do shopping

A better hardware store co.pared to other big box retailers like home Depot and Rona. Their prices are cheaper and it's a local Quebecois company which gives it an edge in Quebec. They staff is friendly , helpful and professional
