Walmart Supercentre

I am giving five stars because tonight I witnessed a racist customer harass an employee and management stuck up for them. The employees at Walmart are not paid enough to deal with these kind of people. I watched an employee working in the self checkout just doing his job be verbally abused by an entitled piece of work. This customer was complaining about him asking if she scanned her bananas (as if that’s not his job) and then was complaining about having to put her own groceries away and made several racist remarks about him. I was very happy to see management not have any of this and told her to leave while she is still hollering and screaming about what a joke it is. I recommend to not leave your house if you want to be that way. Five stars to the employees of Walmart who deal with this on a regular basis- kudos to you guys!

Love this Walmart, Never any issues. If anything they go above and beyond. Super friendly staff. One day I ordered a delivery order on the web and some how it was set as pick up. A staff dropped off my food because of the complications. Nicest encounter ever had with someone at a store. They also answer calls frequently which I love incase I need to call and have any questions ect. And just multiple ways to contact. This store also has really great deals and prices from time to time.

After picking up a few things, my husband and I were confronted with a flat tire when we got back out to the parking lot. One of the Walmart employees, Matt, who was dealing with carts saw us struggling a bit and came over to offer us some advice. It was very appreciated but then beyond that, Matt took the time to get his tire iron out of his car and come over to help us more. Great guy and super thankful for his help.

Dillon from customer service was extremely nice and helpful. He was very kind in pointing me towards where I could find laxities. I was a bit clogged up, but no longer thanks to him.

Never thought I would do this, but I just had a wonderful experience with the New Minas Walmart. The customer service person was delightful...and super at her position, the woman from the electronic department was very helpful and conscientious, and the young man who found the item I was seeking was also very positive and helpful. Thanks to all three for preventing me from having to make an additional trip for this freezer. You guys rock!

Though it is difficult to reach someone on the phone (I had to call back several times and try different departments), their customer service is amazing! My daughter lost a small toy one Saturday, and I called to ask if it had been found by any small chance. The employee took down my info, and the next day, I got a call saying they had found it! After confirming some details, we went to pick it up. Great people working there!

I have been ordering online and picking up here. They have a new pick up spot out back. I love it! They come out quickly and are always friendly and efficient. There are few substitutions at this location. Good job!

Went to Walmart looking for electronic toys for grandson’s. The product wasn’t available and talked with Brenda from electronics and she gave me EXCELLENT ADVICE. She kindly and VERY PATIENTLY listened to my concerns them I made my decisions from there. I wanted to give her a THANK YOU card but is policy no employee is allowed to accept any of the sort. I decided to post this as I found Brenda VERY KIND, VERY PATIENT AND EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL doing her job especially during these hard times and when we are all in such a rush to get what we want and move on. Thank You Brenda and Walmart New Minas is a better place to shop because of people like you

Was a great service - I used them for installing new tires and my car is running so smooth now, I was very surprised. Idk why theres only one review here (and a negative one at that) so I decided to leave my two cents here. Yes they're cheap but they did a great job and I'll definitely go there again =)

Nice Walmart, I haven't been inside one for probably a couple years maybe, but I would go back to this one. I might even buy something. I didn't this time but the Christmas apparel looked interesting and there was some Blue Jay's sweaters there, not necessarily saying that I am a fan of the team, but the sweaters are kind of neat.

I just want to say ; I've gotten my glasses from Walmart Vision Centers for years now ... this location is THE BEST I've EVER been to! Jenny is an amazingly helpful and knowledgeable person , if you have Lupus (which I do) , she will guide you and help you understand how important your eye health is! Thank you so VERY VERY VERY much Jenny! I'll be getting my glasses at your vision center so long as I can deal with you!

Returned an item today at Customer Service. “Margie” went above and beyond to explain my options, was very patient and thorough to ensure I was a happy customer. She’s a “keeper”!

Walmart in Welland has a good team of people who are kind and knowledgeable. The pharmacy staff are great and I usually get them laughing and smiling every time I have gone there.

Great place to shop and price matching made easy. Self checkout is cool however at the cost of several regular checkouts kinda slowly removing the customer to employee interaction which would hurt the company as its seen as a friendly place with great people.

Good visit. Not a long wait for checkout and found all I was looking for. Prices were very good and customers were Covid concience.
